Beating Boston in Boston 3 times this past series makes me think we stand a chance at winning at least one in Denver.

I remember never beating Dallas prior to the 2006 Finals. They owned us for seasons. Now Denver assumes that role.

They definitely gotta give Locksmith more minutes, we need his defense and his hustle. I am worried about rebounding though, Jokic gobbles up rebounds.

Think this should be the line up moving forward (not sure if herro will be back or if he’ll play off the bench so I’ll excuse him for now)

PG: Vincent/Lowry
SG: Strus/Robinson
SF:Butler
PF: Martin/Highsmith
C:Bam/Love

Obviously Spo interchanges them through the positioning, but I think we should bring K Love back into the line up especially for his rebounding and shooting. Bam is gonna play a key part in this so if K Love Just has to play 10 minutes or less so bam can get rest. Highsmith has earned more minutes. Zeller isn’t playable so he has to go especially against Jokic.

Been saying it Denver doesn’t have the ability to hold Butler like Boston did. The series is going to be on Jimmy, he will have the same opportunities he had against the Bucks maybe better because Lopez is a quality rim defender. I expect Miami to force Jokic into actions a lot and try to get him switched onto Butler in the mid range extended.

To me the question of the Series is if Jimmy can recreate the series he had in the 1st round

Hardest path, More Challenged, More Battle Tested, Nothing Came Easy, Everything Earned - We Beat the top 2 East teams & a talented 5th seed & Did It All Depleted & Hobbled. Hell we finished off a tough 2nd Seed Boston team w/ our role players playing better than our stars. How are we then afraid of these Nuggets?!?!? Why because of regular season head to head stats? They mean absolute nothing on the biggest stage where they are virgins. We weren't afraid of anybody we faced in the East & we toppled giants.

Flakers, Suns, Clippers, Warriors, Nuggets......it don't matter.......Heat in 6!

Looking ahead to the Jokic matchup, Bam will be the primary defender but I'm interested to see how Spo handles reserve minutes. I think the tendency is to lean on the veteran Zeller. His Boston minutes were pretty bad, I don't know what the advanced stats say but going off the eye test it wasn't pretty. To his credit he is a pretty strong guy I could see him coming in and mucking up the matchup here and there, but I do wonder if Spo has the gonaz to pull one last trick from up his sleeve.
