So we spend like 5 hours to get to the Westfalenstadion in the fan train. Dortmund fans were crazy optimistic in front of the stadium saying they would trash us 4:0, 5:0 or 6:0 and were chanting „Dortmund are becoming champions and Schalke relegated“ before the game already.
So seeing the Dortmund arrogance before the game - I hoped that we will crush their dream.
The game itself more than made up for the past 4 dreadful games even though we conceded a stupid late equalizer.
Our squad really silenced the whole stadium.
Except for the away end. We were celebrating in party mode all game.
I will remember for years how we managed to be the party poopers for probably 75k Dortmund fans haha.
Games in which nothing is at stake for your team anymore are sometimes the best. Probably the most fun I've ever had at a game was five years ago, when we played at your stadium and HSV was relegated. It was a 90 minute party in the away sector. And I don't even remember the result of the game.
The mighty HSV!
I was so happy when they got relegated and to this day I am still happy they continue to screw up. Here is to hoping they screw up relegation against Stuttgart again!
Besides the obvious Wolfsburg, Leverkusen, Hoffenheim, Bayern and Leipzig:
HSV, Schalke, Frankfurt, Augsburg and Kaiserslautern, I dislike these clubs very much.
