The 3 point shooting could be a little better, but those defensive stats, and especially the assist to TO and FT rate are elite.
Only 1.6 turnovers and 2.6 fouls committed per game.

Whatever direction we take this summer, it should be centered around maximizing Ant and what he does well.
Giannis raised his 2 pt FG% from 55 to 64% his first year with Brook Lopez.

I don't expect Ant to get to that level, but if he can get it to 60% and draw a couple more fouls each game he can reach 30 PPG scorer level and flirt with 50% overall shooting.
I think that means primarily opening him up for more space in his rim attacks.

Most people have echoed the second bolded point based on Connelly and Finch echoing the first bolded point at the year-end pressers. However, the stats you gave should actually indicate that running with both Towns and Gobert also seems like it was maximizing Edwards in the playoffs.

I think this is so critical for the future of this franchise. It means everything that he has fans around the league.

Just read from a french website that Ant is planning to visit Rudy in France this summer to work together and help Rudy to improve ball in hands..... don't know if it's real or not but it will be great if it is. Ant definitly a leader.

Yup, its real. It was reported in a local newspaper in Minnesota.

it's actually hilarious.

He also said he is planning on heading to France at some point to work with Gobert. From the outside, Edwards and Gobert didn't always seem to be on the same page. Edwards seemed reluctant to pass to Gobert when working with him in the screen and roll game. Edwards said that wasn't the case.

"Man, I love Rudy. Me and Rudy got a great understanding," Edwards said. "We talk all the time, and I think he can get a lot better as far as catching the ball, jump hooking. I tell him all the time, like 'Rudy, I'm [going to] throw you the ball every time. I want you to jump hook or money dunk on somebody,' and he be like, 'I got you.' This summer we're going to get together and work on it.

"... He told me to trust him, and I started trusting him and giving it to him and he's making the right play. Shout-out to him, he kept making the right play in the pocket whether he was finishing or kicking it out. I trust him."

Does Edwards already have a flight booked for France this summer? Not yet, because, "Rudy is gonna pay for everything," Edwards said. "He got all the money.

but he liked a comment saying it was the worst trade ever! Another reason social media makes everything a story anymore. Love to see this out of Ant, building chemistry with Rudy will be big.

I also saw in that article he's going to work out with Jaden in Minneapolis where they're both still staying. Pretty cool.

This is great news! I don’t know if I can believe every word that comes out of Ant’s mouth, but if he takes advantages of Gobert’s strengths (setting picks and a legit pick and roll option), rather than using him as a weakness (rejecting screens and defenses knowing he won’t pass to Gobert in a PnR), then this could amplify his game. Book a ticket for Mike Conley to show him how to do it, too!

Yeah honestly, that's my biggest takeaway from the article. Jaden and Naz stayed in town last offseason and look how their games grew this season.

Good on Ant, he isn't going broke any time soon.

I hope Ant really works on his passing and P&R game with Gobert this offseason and is not just doing the Minnesota passive agressive thing. - Gobert needs to get the tickets. It's got to be July 5th to 8th. Sorry, I can't fly in the morning. The gym needs to be close to my hotel. :D

I'm sure the Wolves would gladly pick up the bill, Edwards is playing around (he is from Atlanta so he isn't Minnesota passive aggressive, it takes several years to develop that).

Nope, homes are roughly 6 miles apart
