The whole thing seemed like a house of cards that couldn't last. And it finally fell apart as Miami figured out (and had the personnel) to take them out of their comfort zone.

I'm oversimplifying it, but I think a lot of it has to do with Horford. They need him at a borderline all-star level. Somehow, he did that for a year at age whatever. The last 3 months, his play just dropped. Him being a 48-50% sniper from 3 while doubling Tatum was a killer.

Nuggets in 4/5. Gonna enjoy it. Good for jokic and good for the league to avoid a repeat for 5 years now?

I'm a Bud apologist, but the Heat had both the personnel and scheme to make his life uncomfortable at the three point line. Don't have the data, but he wasn't getting many open looks against Miami, whereas he got a ton of them against us last year.

Who has the edge here, the rusty nuggets who haven't played for a week and a half, or the fatigued heat, who are fresh off a seven game series?

It wasn't just Miami. I think he is just a totally shell of the 39 minutes a game player we saw last year. As a Bucks fan, I hope this trend continues where he declines even more next year. Giannis doesn't seem to do great against smart centers and will fair much better against Robert Williams.

Yep, if we got this version of Horford last season then we're in the 2022 Conference Finals and not Boston. Just sucks that we had to face the last visage of Dirk Horford (he actually shot worse from 3 vs. us than any other series) before he finally dropped off a cliff.

Rob williams, who is a better matchup for us with brook, also got injured forcing more horford minutes in the first place. Got doubly unlucky.

All the Bucks had to do was not leave him wide open.

Think the altitude gives the nuggets a significant edge

I'm going to make a silly comment and say whoever hits their threes. If there's a team hot early, it'll be them.

Feel stupid thinking writing Miami off is crazy but it's hard to see how they can beat Denver in Denver more than once. Bam has had almost nothing for the Jokic matchup when I've watched previously so interested in seeing what Spo does there.

Denver in a respectable 5 game series.
