Jordan's 2nd 3-peat doesn't count because of superteam

Under the standard/logic that Lebrons don't count because of "superteam", then yes, Jordans 6 would not count either.

Agreed. Very few championships are legitimate because of superteam.

yeah, it would be like KDs rings. hollow. That one ring with Cleveland is worth 5 with the heat.

How??? They built another superteam with Irving, love, lbj?? And even worse that Lebron asked silver to suspend dray which helped them get back in the series… I kno it’s his hometown but let’s not act like cle wasn’t a cop out either

Impossible to say because we don't know how the team looks after Bosh's medical retirement.

I'll say he still wins at least 1 more somewhere(I trust Riley-Spo to rebuild the team well at some point).

But that's 1 less than what he has at the moment.

Also an improbable scenario. LeBron was never staying in Miami long-term.

Hard to say. Riley and Spo probably leave as a result of Lebron's constant meddling. LeGM has only proven competent at pressuring to spend assets for win now moves. This might be a case where Lebron's iron man status works against him in years where they'd have needed to rebuild. It's very hard to see any scenario where he doesn't leave for greener pastures once Heat ran out of assets.

Lebron's won 2 more title since he left and been runner up in 3 other Finals. Great run by Miami, great FO/Coaching staff, but I dont think theyre beating Denver. Jimmy's getting older, they will have significant roster turnover. It could be a very long time by the time the franchise has that kind of success

4 titles in 20 years despite stacking the deck. Curry has as many titles in the same era in less years and beat Lebron 3 times and won these titles with the franchise that drafted him.

Would have loved to see LeBron paired with a big like Hassan Whiteside. LeBron, Whiteside, Wade, Dragic and Luol Deng would have been a contender.

And without LeBron, they're not even a Playoffs Team but certainly a contender if James stay in Miami? That Heat core without LeBron won 37 games and went straight to lottery in 2015 after making the NBA Finals for 4 straight years and winning 2 NBA Titles. People keep calling it a superteam when they're not even a Playoffs team eventhough they replace LeBron with Dragic/Deng/Whiteside. Proof of the carry-job LeBron did in Miami that even with a brilliant coach like Spo, he can't coach those Heat Team to Playoffs berth without LeBron.

Lebron won 2 titles in the 9 years since he left MIA. You guys don't think he can win more than 2? You don't think Spo, who's lead a Jimmy Butler team to the finals twice, couldn't top that with a near peak or possibly apex peak Lebron (15-18) and tail end prime Lebron (19-20)? 6 years, 6 opportunities. Lebron by himself takes you to the ECF. You don't think Spo by his side makes a difference? You don't think Riley, who seemingly builds contenders out of thin air no matter the circumstances, crafts a team good enough for Lebron? I'm taking the over. Lebron would've had 3-4 had he simply stuck with the Heat. The path he chose isn't too shabby, but he left a lot on the table. A 2015 Heat Finals win over the Warriors changes the course of history. And vice-versa.

There's still a chance Lebron would have won more titles in Miami because the East was so weak for years. Lebron had possibly the easiest path to the Finals in his career than any other player. Pat Riley would of made the proper adjustments to keep the team successful.

Let's not forget that Lebron at one point in Miami wanted Erik Spoelstra fired and Pat stood behind his man Erik.

0, Miami was not going to get him a better team than Cleveland 2015-2018

Leaving for LA is where he messed up. Lucked out that they managed to secure AD for the 2020 run, then 2021 happens and it's a disaster.

He could have gone anywhere after Cleveland 2.0, could've teamed up with anyone, instead he goes to LA.

However, despite the lack of ring success, there are some positives to consider about going to LA. First of all he saved the franchise which was going nowhere with the young guys. Second of all, he was "the guy" in LA, he was what made LA a good team. He stayed the alpha for a team.

Only among hardcore Curry stans.

He'd have a great argument most wins in a season, possibly 4 ships in a row
Most 4th Quarter Points in Final since 1991
1995 Shaquille O'Neal 11.5
2000 Shaquille O'Neal 11.5 (61.1% TS)
2015 Stephen Curry 10.8 (75.1% TS)
1997 Michael Jordan 10.7 (55.1% TS)
1998 Michael Jordan 10.6 (50.6% TS)

Probably 1 more, maybe 2 if he got some luck.

Wade was clearly declining in 2014 and by 2015 he was a fringe all-star player.

Bosh also would have still had the blood clot issue that sidelined him in 2015 and forced him to retire in 2017. That would have affected Lebron's prime between 2015-2017 roughly.

I do think he would have been able to attract another great free agent between 2017-2022 and combined with the Heat culture, development system and coaching, he would probably wins 1-2 more.

Yeah because Bosh was out for the second half of the season two years in a row then never played again. Go to any team and remove their max player and don’t replace them with anything and see how far they get.

Timeline corrects itself to stay on tangent. The 2016 reverse sweep doesn’t happen and KD can’t join up without losing any more dignity. Heck he might even be the one to beat them in 2017 and 2018 w okc, if not Houston. Curry stays around top 11-12 all time.

Under the universe that they had a relatively superior and better constructed team than the rest of the league.
