This post took me back to when I started posting here.. around the David Lee, Nate Rob, Channing Frye class.. from the first year I felt Lee had more of an impact than Frye, but that draft position dictated a lot of the rotation Mins. I say that to say a lot of guys in the NBA could do some things given an opportunity.. look at Martin a few nights ago, Chris Duhon holds our single game assist record, Dantoni gave Lin a green light and he had a legendary run.. I’m not saying Chandler is better.. I’m just saying Gallo was they guy they invested in at the time. Chandler had some games that gave you pause but ultimately not enough to change the decision. Barrett has shown progress and his floor is higher than chandlers ever was but he has been given the time to do so based on the investment..

I think Courtney Lee is better than Grimes

And i think Tyson Chandler is better than Mitch.

Courtney Lee might be Grimes ceiling, which isn't bad for drafted in the 20s
Or Grimes becomes better.

CLee was one of those guys who got traded 5 times not because he sucked, but because teams actually wanted him, at least at a certain price.

CLee was, what, 29 when the Knicks got him? So Grimes has about 6 years to catch up.

Mitch can't match Tyson's fashion game

in the future, Grimes will unquestionably be better than C.Lee.

Right now.....we needed a C.Lee and his trusty defense & 3pt/mid-range game vs the Heat...not a shook, lost-on-offense Grimes.
