Who cares, glad he's gone. He was a hired gun for 4 years and we capitalized on it with 2 championships, though would have been 3 if he didn't sabotage his friend. Don't need to reminisce on or make up any different outcome than what happened in reality. Please stop mentioning him in Miami Heat discourse.

This is an inaccurate and disingenuous telling of Lebrons career. So, I will not comment on it. As for Curry, he was part of the most stacked superteam in history. So he absolutely does not get credit for 2 of those rings.

In what universe are Jordans Bulls superteams?

Under the universe that they had a relatively superior and better constructed team than the rest of the league.

Every Team with prime Jordan in it, is superior.
"Better constructed" doesnt mean Super-Team either. Dallas 2011 was well constructed.

I put "and". That means both qualities must be met to be a super team.

It's very hard to see any scenario where he doesn't leave for greener pastures once Heat ran out of assets.

So, it WAS "LeGM" when the Lakers traded for Westbrook, but it was "savvy GM Rob Pelinka" when they traded Westbrook out. Gotcha...

So a guy gets 66.7% of a FRANCHISES championships as the best player, while only playing in about 13% of their seasons, but we'll call it an "L" on THAT guys legacy??? :rofl2:

Let's not forget that Lebron at one point in Miami wanted Erik Spoelstra fired and Pat stood behind his man Erik.

Sent from my SM-N975U using RealGM mobile app

Go look at the early 80's Lakers competition out West in route to the Finals. First round byes, 3gm series and in 1987 the 3 teams they beat to get to the Finals were a combined 10gms below .500

Riley cleared it up years ago that James never asked for Spo's firing.

zero, they aren't getting better assets than Kyrie or Kevin Love. People love to give Riley credit, but it was really Wade and Lebron that decided they would unite in Miami, and Bosh tagged along.

The mental gymnastics the haters are doing in this thread is quality. We know who you are. I’ve ran into many of you with your terrible takes and narratives like LeBron is actually playing LeGM like it’s fantasy league. At least the Curry stans go away after you tell them off the first couple times and reality hits.

lol sounds petty, your team only has 1 championshop without Lebron. He's the greatest player to play for your team.

Didn't say any of those words in my post but umm...ok. Anyways.

Glad he's gone like I said. Hopefully you stans follow him into retirement. Will be a lot better for basketball when all discourse doesn't revolve around **** on every other basketball player, especially his teammates and the greats that came before him, to prop him up.

I'm happy to have a team to actually root for, and proud of its success. Success we've had before and after him, whether you like it or not. Glad to know that the **** stain that is LeBron fandom has now added denigrating franchises on his behalf, to the healthy list of denigrating his teammates and the past greats of basketball.

"Better constructed" doesnt mean Super-Team either. Dallas 2011 was well constructed.

They won 55 games without Jordan the next year. The 2nd 3-peat had multiple other hall of famers. All of them were deep, well constructed and had a GOAT coach. They were definitely superteams.

Riley would have traded LeBron. Bron was never going to win a battle of control against Riles.

Was it hard for you not being able to root for the Heat or celebrating those b2b championships in those 4yrs?

The floor for that is 7 titles in the 3 point eras, defending the title at least 4 times as a captain of both offense + DEFENSE

I know this is hard concept for grown men who have made a life out of worshipping another grown man bc he can play a game, but I root for a TEAM. Whatever is happening, the Miami Heat are my TEAM and I root for and celebrate my TEAM'S success.

On the contrary, what will you do when LeBron retires? Surely you won't spend the rest of your life on the internet futility defending a retired man who never knew you existed and still won't?
