They helped us get this far, but Jimmy, Strus and Martin (in no particular order) cost us a chance to win this game.

I've gotten on Bam at times, but he was excellent tonight.

I see some positive signs on things that can be fixed (not missing wide open shots and Spo making adjustments to pull non-performing guys faster), some things which cannot be fixed (our lack of size).

2 FT attempts is ridiculous. I don't care how many 3's a team chucks, it's completely insane to only get 2 FT attempts. Spo needs to go off with the media and take the fine.

He gets away with being passive. You know at his post game interview he'll just say "I gotta be there for my guys, etc." Same thing over and over.

I’m not impressed, I feel like the nuggets did about all they could and they only won by 11 despite shooting 18 more free throws and us not being able to make a wide open 3. If we even shoot half the amount of free throws they did and make 2 more wide open 3s we win.

This team is 100% beatable.

Strus, Duncan, and Highsmith all played 20+ minutes. Highsmith was 7-10, Strus/Duncan 1-16. One of those two needs to be riding the pine when Herro gets back.

The zone actually looked decent against the lineup with Jokic in it. I'm really curious what adjustments Spo makes.

Caleb finally hits a 3 in the 3rd quarter and is immediately subbed out and never returns in the game. Terrible starting lineup and terrible rotations today. What happened to Kevin Love? Am I missing something. He can be used in this series, Spo is still coaching like this is Boston.

Defense was good after the start. 2nd lowest scoring by them this playoffs. I think some of our guys just had dead legs. 2 days before next game, so I expect a better performance on Sunday.

Only 7 players outscored Butler in game one, way to give that effort! Even Highsmith outscored Butler.

Not worried. Heat and Spo figured some stuff out. For game 2, we will definitely shoot a lot better. And this is looking like a series for Bam and possibly Herro. The midrange is there for them to exploit.
Only worry is Butler just because of last series. Not shocked he had a poor game 1. Like everyone else on the team its probably the adjustment to altitude and fatigue from game 7. Hopefully it is and its not a carryover from last series.
We will need someone to win two games by himself by scoring 40 or even 50 pts. Butler kinda is the only one capable of that. If he can't do that, then I don't know how we get enough points in 4 games to win.
Hopefully Herro can get his rhythm back quickly. We need some scoring insurance in case Butler can't score like he did in the 1st 2 playoff rounds.
For game 2, it's a semi must win. Sporting Denver a 2-0 lead is gonna make it pretty tough to come back from.
