best since Begarin! Kidding aside, it's really refreshing seeing us drafting well with late picks under Brad after enduring a decade of futility under Ainge. Both Begarin and Davison have 1st round talent/upside. You really can't ask for much more considering where each was taken.

Paul Pierce. I know I’ll be dating myself here, but I used to go watch games at the Long Beach Pro/Am league. After Paul’s rookie year, that Summer he played on the C’s team and went for like 45 or something in a game, and then they shut him down. If I recall correctly, Adrain Griffin and Vitaly Potapenko were on that team too. Maybe Tyus Edney? I remember seeing Dirk playing there, too.

I'm dating myself by admitting I read that and thought to myself, "Dating yourself? That wasn't that long.... oh ****."

Seriously, and that was two years after I moved to LA to start my job - meaning I was already a grown adult, which makes me . . . Never mind. I’m just glad I have been able to enjoy being a Boston/C’s fan here in LA. So many great like-minded fans around here, and I’ve seen many great games. I was even at Game 5 of the 2018 World Series at Dodger Stadium. And I get to live in LA, which I must say is pretty amazing.

Hauser played 2 games and sucked in one and was ok in the other. Wondering if we signed him too quickly? I think matt ryan offers more than Hauser. Begarin should spend one more year in france then make the team next year if his shooting improves. I like T Will but he needs to get in better shape and work on his D. Broderic is just steady. I probably take him over jackson even tho jackson is a more skilled offensive player. Thats a tough call

Begarin was drafted by Danny, so was Jayson/Jaylen/Grant/Smart/Bobby, etc, etc.
Good assessment:

Yes, it's only Summer League but it's still better than being last in assists per game and shooting 26.4% from 3.

Begarin was Brad's. He replaced Ainge early June. Draft was late July. Jury's still out on whether JD and Juhann can become rotation players.

Watching the game yesterday and seeing how well Bergarin was playing and how much better he was this SL compared to last SL, I was thinking the Bergarin pick was Danny's last gift to the organization.

But then I was like wait a minute, I think Brad drafted him. I believe Ainge stepped down in June of 2021. Brad took over on 6/2/21.
The draft last year was on 7/29/21. Unless Ainge stayed on and had a part in the draft, then it was Brad that picked Bergarin.

Wow.. thought JD had a chance for 1st team, but not even seeing him on 2rd team is such real BS IMO.

JD was a turnover machine in college which a reason I have heard cited as to why he dropped from high first round pick to late second round. The fact that he addressed that criticism in a major way between the end of college season and summer league is a great sign. That kind of growth is what we saw with Rozier, Brown and Rob Williams - 3 of the most impressive Celtics developmental success stories who just got better every year. If he shows up to training camp with a pull up jumper the Celtics could have the steal of the draft.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."
