Mike Miller was playing less than 15 mpg his last season in Miami.

LeBron did NOT hinge his decision on Mike Miller lol. It did serve as one of many convenient narratives for him to point to try to excuse his actions.

Duncan Robinson mpg 2022-2023 season : 16

Was someone other than Spo deciding how much to play Duncan?

Why am I entertaining this? I guess it’s the sacrifice us fans make for the much needed extra day between finals games.

I'm pretty sure the Arisons bought him out? No way Pat is still part owner.

Udonis Haslem also hopes to be part of the ownership group. He needs to own 1% though.

They did indeed buy him out some years back

Do you have a link?

In the NBA, ownership information is not typically publicly disclosed or readily available. I'm interested in how it was disclosed.

I got it from an old LeBatard piece. To your point though I dont think anyone would know if not for him putting this out there.
Riley had an ownership stake with the Heat, but he sold it back years ago to the Arisons. Now Nick is the limited partner.

Just listened to a podcast where windhorst said the heat got around 4 calls that swung the game…. Seriously, where were these media guys when gianis was travelling every play, foster was playing for the knicks, Boston were being carried by the refs??? American media is just so shameless

^Those disadvantaged us, so it's no big deal lol. Denver got a bunch of calls that swung the game in their favor which could've went bad for us, such as Bam's phantom foul on a Jokic three when we were on a roll & Gabe's garbage foul on KCP at the end of the first half. Could name others, but you're never gonna hear about those because anti-Miami media sentiment is rampant. Which calls aside from a missed Jimmy out of bounds & the debatable Bam GT is Windy talking about?

FT disparity would up being a 2 attempt difference in favor of DEN even with the second half officiating being more evenly awful as opposed to being heavily slanted in the Nuggets' favor lol

I really enjoyed watching the mature way the Nuggets players reacted to calls against them. I guess that happens when you finally experience real life in the NBA after getting used to having your eggs coddled by the media and the league every night.

Jokic fouls on every play. Pushes off. Runs over Vincent. Hit Bam in the face. Gets the phantom 3pt call. Just him by himself gets enough calls to turn a game. Then the ball goes out of bounds off his hands and if Nuggets don't get possession he gesticulates for all to see.

Lol dude we've been over this. Nobody actually hates Bam. I hate when he does soft **** like fadeaways against 6'4" guards, but in general I like Bam and want to see him be the best version of himself. Which includes treating people in the organization with respect. Notice I did give him an out, if the guy did something egregious. You're too sensitive about it to see the difference.

Any criticism regarded as 'hate' will only come from over sensitive fan boys. Tired of this twit saying 'I'm right' like anybody gives a f*ck. Right about what exactly? Fact is the critics have always been correct since when Bam is aggressive on both ends he not only makes it easier for us, especially when we have offensive droughts or key players out, but it also makes us a better team. That's all critics want out of Bam and when he is aggressive on offense we ARE a much better team & he deos make it much easier on the rest of the team.

I love the way Bam is playing atm because he's doing the opposite of why he receives so much criticism. He is an extremely valuable player on our team. The kid is shaping up to be a great player. That is what we want from Bam - to be a true Heat legend. But you gotta do more than just play D & rebound. He has it in him to be a scorer too & he's proving that this series especially. He has a great opportunity to not only win his first Championship but to win finals MVP too.

Prior Jimmy wld parrot coach Spo and say Bam doens't need to score to make an impact but has come out more often saying when he scores it makes it much easier for the team. Jimmy evidently is hurt so there must be compensation for his scoring drop off - that's where jimmy wants Bam to step up, which he has.

Bam keeps scoring & this title is ours and that MVP is his which will prove his critics correct not his fanboys.
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

Windhorst sometimes has means of getting credible info to report on thru sources. He has zero value as someone discussing the game.

ESPN topics/reports are being run by twitter. Journalist no long look for stories, they go to see what people are talking about on twitter and make it a subject of their podcast or round table.

Fwiw, I guess the Bam postgame thing was bc he had to do two on-court interviews instead of one. Again, not trying to crucify him for this, but also doesn't seem like something that was necessary for him to go off on the Heat staffer about either. Save that fire for attacking the rim!

I’m so glad no one on the team cries like a baby I.e Tatum and jokic about calls. It’s untenable watching…. I remember D wade used to stay back during and talk to the refs while the other team would get a fast break lol

Return to Miami Heat
