It’s stuff like this that makes people feel like our front office has lost its way.

Despite whether that’s true or not.

Casual fans don't give a crap. They will check in October who coaches.

Fans like us though, need some news.So it's a combination where we have no patience but the FO has too much patience.

Truth is in the middle :)

It's for the better, what are we going to do between now and the draft if we have a coach in place? This keeps us interested.

Aka, Toronto give us Fred or we will keep 17.

I would be majorly surprised if Kenny vaults to the front of the line. As for FVV for DLR and 17 bring-it-on. Having 13 and 17 is a helluva offseason regardless of who gets the coaching job. I like all of Sergio, Jordi, Kenny or Darko and Miami's Quinn s/be here too. Imagine drafting Coulibaly and Rupert...

I know he is 62, but look at the Sergio - he is fit and good to go for a few more years.

A guy like Coach Budd who is so untoned and blowing up on the court is a heart attack waiting to happen.

Atkinson all the way! He got a raw deal in Brooklyn. We can't wait on Sergio! We need our coach this week!

I think Atkinson has some Nurse in him too. Always had his teams playing hard and scrappy in BRK ... plus he's analytical.

You can understand why Raps would be interested in him

If Atkinson can implement GSW’s offensive system here then he is the right man. Get it done.

Jerry Stackhouse. Or Kinny (say it in the Charles Barkley voice/accent) Atkinson.

Is it me or there was no coach news or new rumours today

The speculation and rumours mills seems to stopped with the news that Sergio was not going to come to Toronto and will focus on the final.

1) Either we wait for him to take a decision
2) Either it’s already him
3) Either it was him but both side hit a road block
4) unrelated and we wait for Miami/Denver
5) unrelated at all

No one will ever replicate their motion offense with the same level of success unless you're getting Steph, Klay and Draymond on that team. They are the reason the offense is the way it is.

And what did those teams do during their tenure and post tenure? Didn't accomplish much and set them back

Wilkens took the Raptors to the 2nd round for the first time ever after they lost T-Mac before the season........

And then brought the Raptors on an unbelievable win streak without Vince Carter to make the playoffs, played the pistons in the playoffs without Vince, and took them to 5 games in the five game series

Then, everything went haywire between Vince and the Executives at the organizations, nothing to do Lenny.

Was there a coach at the time that could have done better in those circumstances?

If Sergio is the choice would make sense to wait to announce it until his season is over. No real rush on Raptors side since he already knows the organization very well and guys like rico can be running off season training currently anyways.

The later and later decision gets the more likely is that its Sergio

Can't pick a coach because management is confused about direction. 41 wins season coming back for over paid middle stars.
