How do you feel about Scoot shutting it down at the end of the G-League season?

They were eliminated from the playoffs so he had nothing to play for.

Better not draft him then, he'll just shut it down in January

Brandon Miller makes it so much easier to draft BPA. If we draft Scoot and a player like Kobe falls to us we prolly shouldn't draft him.

These are who I want with our picks in order

THEM - Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen

UNCNYC - Arthur Agee, William Gates

Other than JMAC am I the only one here who thinks this kid is just more talented than Scoot?

I'm like 40 Scoot, 40 Miller, 20 Amen

I think Scoot needs the right situation to reach his potential (not sure if it's here), but Miller probably turnkey on just about any roster.

I've been on the Miller bandwagon the whole time. I won't be too upset if we pick Scoot, his attitude seems great, but I actually think Miller is the better fit and has the higher ceiling.

Just tired of drafting guys that can jump high but can't shoot. Also tired of hearing how players got that "dOg" in em. Which one will be the better basketball player and not the one who can jump highest. I'll take Miller.

Scoot's athleticism is also a bit overstated. He's great in that regard, but not Morant/Rose/Wall-level.

I’m down on this draft in general, but I definitely prefer Miller to Scoot. When people say these guys would go #1 in other drafts, start comparing Scoot athletically to Rose and Westbrook, or suggest drafting a guy because he’s got fan noise behind him they lose me pretty quick.

I agree with you…Miller is more talented. I think what compels some to like Scoot more is his perceived higher ceiling, but I don’t buy that either. IF he can learn to shoot consistently….and IF he can overperform relative to his height, particularly on defense, then maybe he can ultimately exceed Brandon’s likely production. BUT…Miller is underrated relative to his ceiling IMO. As talented as he is now, project his trajectory after adding some weight, man strength, and improving his handle.

Lastly he’s a great fit to the team we now have. Scoot can fit also, just not nearly as seamlessly as Miller.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

I don't care what anyone says he's not a westbrook or rose athlete. I've been laughing at that since day 1.

I’m with you on Brandon Miller. As a 6’9 prospect with advanced dribble pass shoot skillset I think he is in rarefied air.

Edit: Milker spelling fixed lol

That's my take. If some of you can go back to throwing jabs at one another that'd be ideal. Makes my work time go by quicker.

Who exactly are you referring to? Looking at our history of first round draft picks and I'm not seeing a bunch Uber athletic types that didn't pan out because they weren't skilled.

Mark
Bouk
Melo
PJ
Miles
Malik
Frank

What pattern are you getting at?

I started out 70/30 Miller, I'm probably 55/45 Miller right now. I think they will both be good picks.

Sorry, I meant guys who can jump high but can't play basketball. Bouk and Kai most recently.

I have no clue how Scoot potentially falls into that list. Even Bouk was a good player at Uconn. Don't act like these are guys that just picked up a basketball 2 years ago.
Your Charlotte Hornets! We’ll eventually get something right;right?

How many star wings played poorly in college vs good teams?
