Duncan Robinson

Post#1 » by The-Stallion70 » Thu Jun 8, 2023 8:33 pm

740 the game interviewed a Heat reporter who said that the Heat will have trouble retaining Strus and Vincent unless they move other salary.

Would we be open to taking on Robinson's contract?

He fell out of the rotation before but he has come alive again in the playoffs this year and shown that he is still capable. Most importantly, teams still shadow and chase him all over the court, which is exactly the type of floor spacing we need next to Paolo and Franz (and Ausar? Whitmore?)

Thoughts?

This trade wasn't some conspiracy - it was just a GM wanting AD bad enough where in most people's eyes he overpaid by a long shot to get him.

No. Too much money. Can find him at pick 11. Hopefully better... Good luck to Duncan he went against the odds and got a HUGE payday.

Or we could just sign Strus.

I’m pretty sure we can draft a player that brings what he does at 11. Give me that rookie contract.

Not happening. Too much money for playing the way he has in recent memory in spite of his playoff run.

Robinson will be a good filler for Lillard or Beal.

Don't get me wrong. I'm glad he has recover some sense of his confidence back given his recent play. It's just that he has to show me more that he can play like this in the regular season and the playoffs on a consistent basis and play to the worth of his contract.
