That's what I am saying. Just hire all of our former coaches as assistants.

Griffin with his assistant coaches of Stotts, Drew, Porter, Skiles...etc.

Just stay away from Krystkowiak.

BTW.....has anyone even considering hiring Budenholzer?

Think Bud is gonna enjoy a year off of coaching, and will be the among the first consideration for squads that wind up replacing their coach next year (Boston after another flameout? Chicago if they miss the POs again? Washington after they've given their due diligence to Wes Unseld's kid?).

Have never had a bad thing to say about Prunty, especially when he brought an air of competence to the team's coaching when he replaced Kidd's fraud ass. No problem with bringing back a guy with organizational and team familiarity for a spot on the bench.

Let's get the rest of the band back together. What's Greg Foster up to these days? Sean Sweeney? Jim Boylan? Joe Wolf?

Drew is on the Clips staff. Skiles and Porter are available. So is Hubie Brown. He has a championship on his assistant coach resume.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

We need a Blues Brother meme with Horsty and Griff cruising around in a Dodge Monaco and getting the band back together.

If we’re doing this Larry Krystkowiak can’t be so busy.

Prunty somehow looks both like he's 70 and 15. Definitely not in his 50s.

And the good news is nobody will ever give Prunty or Stotts a head coaching job again so we don't have to worry about them being poached.

FIGHT ME, EPI.

Mutombo is a great get. A rising star in his own right. Prunty is solid and has a relationship with a lot of our guys.

I wouldn’t be surprised if that stuff was true, the bucks are old, out of assets and money, and Giannis only has 2 years left. If I was a head coach I would choose Detroit every time. Win a playoff series in the next few years and you’re set. Don’t make the ecf with the bucks next year and you’re on the hot seat. Even if you have decent success, an obvious tear down is on the horizon.

Don’t really care about the coaching stuff anymore. More and more I’m focused on what roster changes they can make. Mike Malone didn’t become a championship coach in one season, he has the best player and a good cast around him. If the bucks can get more guys who can hang in a playoff series they will have success, if they can’t then they’re going to fail no matter who’s on the bench.

I get Monty choosing Detroit and the Bucks having interest. Offering the job to Sampson is wild if true.

It's not true. I have no inside sources myself but neither does Woelfel.

Or the front office went into the search wanting head coaching experience, Nurse and Monty underwhelmed and Griffin was impressive ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

We'll never know and I'm happy with our choice but at least we didn't hire the coach who we beat in the Finals.
