If you strip bam and jimmy out of any deal, you could trade Miami's whole roster and every available 1st and its not worth dame.

3rd team would need to get involved.

Who wants miamis crap?

Old man lowry?
Undrafted scrubs who got hot for a couple weeks period?
Or that douchebag over confident budget store klay with the non existant defensive feature?

But wait I’ve done the math, we are in year 2 of the ten year window so if you subtract that leaves us with 8 years.

now take out 3 years for the heats run that leaves us with at least a half a decade

Run it back, and back, and back, and back, and back

Dame/Jimmy/Bam is better on paper.

Lowry, Herro and multiple 1sts is the kind of **** trade for a star we need to be making.

So by comparison that would be brogdon, smart and multiple firsts.

Although brogdon is currently better than lowry
Smart = hero. Smart isnt as good offensively but at leadt gives something there where herro gives NOTHING
Our picks will be worse.

So brogdon, smart and picks for Dame....better offer.

Hah. Well we can forget any Damian Lillard ideas. Have to remember Boston isn't really a destination for a lot of the guys.

Don't need Dame anyway. We have JD Davison.

No team is gonna want to help facilitate Miami becoming a super team with Dame/Butler/Bam and no team is gonna want to take miami's junk.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

Thoughts?

Would Jaylen Brown resign in Portland? It's more "white" than Boston.

How bad would Ime want TimeLord and Smart? Still enough room for Harden salary cap-wise?

Ainge gets his true tank job going, plus a new franchise player in Scoot

Can C's let Grant walk and pick a Thompson brother/Walker/Hendricks to replace him?

Celtics fans: "Our main needs are a starter quality big cos Rob is injury-prone and Horf is old, a true PG, and a backup wing."
Brad Stevens: "Done, done, and DONE!"

Pretty solid all around. I think Jazz are least likely to say yes, but you can make a case for everyone.

Agreed. Does Danny believe Scoot is a franchise talent? If so, I think he could pull the trigger. I think this would be a good sell-high deal for the C's.

Yep, that's the case! :D
I would guess he wouldn't include both Lauri and Kessler to move up 9 spots tho. Maybe take out Kessler, Rob and 20??? Probably like a sweater where you start pulling threads like that and it all falls apart.

White | Hayward | Tatum | Jabari | Timelord
Smart | Hauser | Gallinari | Horford | Sengun

A ton of playmaking, size, and shooting. Can still get a defensive wing for Grant/PP/Muscala if we want. Can install a free-flowing offense with these guys.

Actually, lol, I dunno. Maybe that is the right price to move up to 3 if Scoot falls. Shrug.

I don’t think Dame’s coming here either but Chris Haynes has as about as much info as you & I on what’s going on with Lillard.
