I'm still pro running it back, but the more I look at Scoot and Brandon Miller the more I'd not be opposed to a Brown to Portland deal. Both of those guys seem like they could genuinely be cornerstones in the future and the benefit of having them on rookie deals would be huge under the new CBA.

BOS: #3, #23, Simons

POR: Brown, Pritchard, Muscala, #35

Might be getting too greedy trying to give them spare parts to move up to #23 but if they're going all in for a running mate for Dame, Brown is the best option and they'll need depth so I think it could be swung. I'd still do it without that included.

It absolutely sets the Celtics back, but cures a lot of ills, shakes things up and still gives you a Tatum sized championship window.

Personally I think Portland should just go full rebuild and I think that's the likelier option, but Dame isn't likely to land them the kind package that makes that a no-brainer (e.g. top 3-5 pick or BKN-esque load of future picks).

Here’s a Washington deal just because of reading everyone else’s terrible deals.

Boston: Kristaps Porzingis, AJ Griffin

Washington: Dejounte Murray, Bogdan Bogdanovich

Atlanta: Jaylen Brown

If Brown seems likely to leave (Atlanta in this case) or if he’s just too pricey in the new CBA. KP had a surprisingly good season which who knows if it keeps up or not but he was quietly very productive and efficient.

Could be interesting defensively if they want to keep Rob playing the rover/4 on defense that would be an absolutely massive front line of Tatum/Rob/KP.

Edit - ps solves an issue of almost everyone pitching brown for a guard who can’t play SF which would make Boston tiny and thin as Kate Moss on the wing smdh.

Pps how many days until Utah steals Jabari Smith Jr for Olynyk.

So much for my Olynyk to Boston dreams they are dashed thanks Danny.

Doncic asks out.
LeBron asks out to join Kyrie.
JB asks out to play with LeBron and Kyrie.

All three teams pivot and Suns get involved to balance their roster.

HOU: Brown for #4, Eason, KPJ
ORL: 4, Muscala for 6, WCJ, 36

Simple trades

1) Danillo Gallinari and Malcolm Brogdon
for
Chris Paul
Paul is non Guaranteed next season...Perhaps a chance to move into coaching at point with this team?????

2) Payton Pritchard and a future second for Mark Williams
Mark backs up timelord, but can also be a replacement

Not as simple trades

1) Brown and Brogdon to Cleveland
for
Garland and Allen

Cleveland hedges bet on keeping both Brown and Mitchell by adding them together on the same team. They are good friends so it should go a long way to keeping both. Move Mobley to Center where, imo, he belongs.

Brogdon
Mitchell
Brown
Wade
Mobley

2) Robert Williams to OKC
for
Jaylin Williams and Kenrich Williams

OKC adds a center who can bring differing skill than Holmgren (pf)
Giddey
SGA
Dort
Holmgren
Timelord

Celtics add an upgrade at Center, at PG and some great forward depth in the williams'

Garland/Pritchard
Smart/White
Tatum/KWilliams
JWilliams/GWilliams
Allen/Horford

Alternative BIG Lineup
Garland/Smart
Tatum/White
K. Williams/Hauser
J. Williams/G. Williams
Allen/Horford

Grant Williams Sign and Trade to MIN for SlowMo

Smart/White/Davidson

Horford/SlowMo
Williams/Nance Jr/Muscala/Kornet
Jrue to Boston

O Lord. We've entered into "trades that will never in a million years happen" mode. 27 player trades, etc.

Boston: #3 (Miller), Simons, DFS

Portland: Brown

Brooklyn: Beasley, #17

Lakers: Brogdon

C's end up with:

Smart/ Pritchard
White/ Simons
Tatum/ Miller/ Hauser
Grant/ DFS/ Gallo
Rob/ Horford/ Muscala

Try to sneak in Pritchard, Muscala, #35 for #23 as part of Portland deal and go after Lively (take back Mills from BKN as PG depth).

Can you imagine if Twitter was then what it is now the months leading up to the KG trade? Wowzers. So many Chris Haynes type reporters would have spewed out the mouth how KG hates Boston and will never play there.

Literally, doesn't matter what Haynes says. If a deal was struck that sent Dame to Boston, he would ultimately come around and be excited about it. Everything else is all B.S.

Listen, would he prefer to go to Miami? Probably... Heck of a city for a rich young man. I'm 99.9% sure the idea of winning titles in Boston would convince him to come to Boston.

Miller is going #2 to Charlotte.

I like it, I think that Lakers need to pony up Vanderbuilt too though.
Brown to Portland
BEasley and 17 to Brooklyn
Brogdon to Lakers

#3, Simons, DFS and Vandy to Boston

Scoot/Pritchrd
White/Smart
Tatum/DFS
Vanderbuilt/Grant
Rob/Horford

Same deal with trying to sneak in Pritchard, Muscala, #35 for #23 as part of Portland deal. Aim to add another big wing via the draft. There's a ton of expiring salary that could be added to that or #17 (Gallo/ Beasley/ Mills) instead if you wanted a veteran.
