Size always helps but it’s just dumb low hanging fruit to cry about. The reason this team is consistently contending in the playoffs is bc Miami requires multi-faceted skillsets from each player on the floor to execute the schemes.

If we can acquire more size without sacrificing the skillets that’s great. But to just cry about size is reflective of a lack of understanding. Every team would love to be able to just add extremely athletic and skilled giants to man the roster. There are real world limitations that the org needs to operate within.

There’s only one Jokic in the world (but at least we got a Jovic)

But hold on.....i stated the same as what Greg is saying here several months ago reiterating how had we been fully healthy in the bubble we may have won vs Lakers & vs Boston in gm7 in spite of small ball. Then i had everybody state how w/ Love we're no longer small. So when we win we're big, but when we lose we're small again?

Again, i reinforce we were never big & w/ a fully healthy Jimmy & even Herro & Dipo this series may be tied or we may even be winning and this small ball criticism becomes a non factor the way it was for the 1st 3 series. I've said it numerous times now our main issue isn't small ball it's the bloody fact we're always getting f*ckin injured at crucial times in the season.

Good news is we have put ourselves on the big stage for everybody to see. This should help with recruiting plus being in Miami. If Spo can coach this team to the Finals then get this roster some legitimate talent. No offense to our guys but more often than not, they aren't great. It was a magical run but you aren't winning titles with asking Gabe and Strus to be your starting scoring options. I'm optimistic about the future but we need to get away from rewarding our own guys. I like these guys but do what's best for the franchise over loyalty.

It’s not impossible to win game 5 on the road and use that momentum to win game 6, and then lose in game 7. Crazier things have happened.

Jimmy doesnt get it

HE CANNOT BE A PASSIVE "TEAM FIRST" player because then nobody respects his drives anymore, because hes not a scoring threat

Jimmy NEEDS to be out there dropping 30+ and taking over a game, to strike fear into the defense, and THEN his little drives and kickout passes will be effective

but if hes gonna be a non factor, they just 1v1 him and dont overhelp when he drives, they stay home on our shooters.
