Man Crisp and Lugo are killing this team. If the Sox are lucky enough to win this game, I don't know how Ellsbury is not in center for Game 6.

On a side note, nice gesture from the Sox tonight letting Bill Mueller throw out the first pitch. Will be nice to see him in Fenway again.

I think Schill comes up big in this game. It could be his last start as a Red Sox, and he loves these types of pressure filled, drama games. Ellsbury has to start, we need to get something done in the bottom third of the order. He could provide a spark which allows us to hit Carmona again like we did in game 2. If it comes down to a pitchers duel, we can't win b/c Carmona is better and can pitch deeper into games than Schill. We can't go into the 8th innning down, b/c Bettancourt and Co. are unhittable.

Huge hit from JD Drew. The Sox almost left the bases loaded and who knows what would have happened.

Schilling was shaky to start, but settle down with the big lead. He did what he was suppose to do. Threw stikes and didn't let guys on base.

Now it's up to Dice-K to keep it going.

Dice will do fine - he has shown time and time again that when everything is on the line, he will deliver. The high school championship tournament (Koshien) and the World Baseball Classic championship game are the biggest stages for a Japanese player, and he has been nothing short of brilliant in those high pressure situations. It also seems that he has been uplifted by having a chance to redeem himself in Game 7 for his previous playoff outings.

I think game 7 is gonna be a high scoring game. Westbrook won't shut the Sox down twice in one series, the Sox play differntly at Fenway. I think Daiuske won't' pitch great, but good enough to win, 6 inninngs, 4 runs. The key for the Sox is for the Indians not to score early so they re-gain momentum. Its also key for the Sox to up goingi into the later inninngs b/c i don't want to face the indians pen down runs.

Who didn;t see that double play (off of Lugo's bat) coming...especially since we had Ellsbury showing bunt initially, why not have Lugo bunt down the third base line where the third baseman is holding Varitek, Varitek stays at third, chances are you get second and third one out top of the lineup up, and there's a chance Lugo's safe at first too
