Thankful for what James gave us for 15 months, but he will hinder our ceiling a year from now. We split from Doc. Now Harden and Harris.

Agree completely, yet there are people on this forum who seriously want to add Bradley Beal to Embiid and Harden, and use Maxey to get him.

Talk about crippling the franchise. That's the Tobias signing disaster on steroids.

What? Hell no!!!!!!!! Tobias for beal but not maxey. And let harden walk. I’d take maxey and beal as our two guards over harden beal….. Maxeys not finished developing man it’s gonna ge scary how good this kids gonna be and gf has that Kobe work ethic in the gym at 3am while other guys bd at the club!!!

I don't know what you're rambling to me about. I've been crystal clear that I want no part of Beal, with or without Harden, and at no point have I ever advocated trading Maxey for anyone.

This is the first time I like and trust both GM in Morey and coach in Nurse in my 22 years as a Sixers fan.

Agreed. Morey has been hamstrung with Glenn who the idiots gave a 5-year contract to just days before Morey was hired. This is his first shot with his preferred coach.

Morey has to prove it to me after last offseason IMO.

I get that he lacks options but thats what the good GMs do...they make **** happen

Dan Burke won't be back. Going to the Pistons. Looks like Nurse is cleaning house on the staff.

We'll prob get Nate Bjorkgren as our lead assistant. He has history with Nurse.

Who knows? The bottom line is if Morey doesn't get us past round 2 in 5 years, he deserves to be fired. 2 years left.

I'm not completely sold on Tyrese as a star either, but he needs to be given the reigns. He was a large first rounder that came into the league hesitant to shoot the ball, next year he improved his skills as a shooter and ball handler, and polished his skills further. However the next steps he needs to do can be coached in terms of a one on one game and off ball movement and quick decisions

However, mentally I don't think he's afraid of the moment

Exactly! What a lot of people forget is that if not for the Simmons no-show it's highly probable that Rivers never really gives him a shot, and he's possibly a throw-in on yet another ill-advised trade.

The kid is 22 and has been asked to fill a different role every year of his career, and has worked his ass off to do what was asked of him. Now we put him with a real coach whose area of expertise is shooting - let's see what he can do if he's trained properly and turned loose.

The WT article about how Toronto parted ways with Nurse due to lack of player development is concerning.

Not surprising, but very concerning.

I will be stunned if they take a step back year and turn the reigns over to Maxey. Morey's little algorithm or whatever almost is certainly still telling him they have a great chance to win a title (even though they have zero chance).

Maxey still might be traded. Definitely can't rule it out.

Targeted leak by Masai to CYA after handing Nurse a garbage roster and drafting guys who can't play. Imagine blaming the coach because he can't turn a bust like Malachi Flynn into a good player.

Masai definitely supplied the story. It's also true Nurse went full Thibs on his roster last year.

Agreed. The same guy who gets a lot of credit for developing a late 1st in Siakam and undrafted player in FVV is now being ripped for not turning every dice roll into a stud/rotation player? Do better Masai.

Yeah it's pardon my french BS. The guys they blame Nurse for are late first round picks early 2nd round picks who have done nothing to earn playing time.

It seems like the FO wanted Nurse to tank and he refused to
