If you still want Westbrook in 2023 you're objectively terrible at understanding basketball.

the play is to hope and plead houston to do a S&T for harden giving you a huge trade exception that you can use to acquire a player already under contract.

The title of this thread (FREE AGENT TARGETS IF HARDEN LEAVES). Westbrook was simply mentioned as being a player that IS A FREE AGENT (again, on topic), that also has the size to play next to Tyrese Maxey. Nothing more, nothing less than that. How much $hit am I going to continue getting over this one  ? I get it...Nobody wants Russell Westbrook...He's the equivalent of an Andy Dalton jersey.

Butler couldn't play off the ball and we already had Simmons. It wouldn't have worked and things werent cool there were rumblings from inside the locker room Jimmy wasn't happy with Simmons running the point and didn't want to play off the ball. We weren't willing to give him the full max which was the only way he was going to stay

Furthermore all this talk of Butler and Tobias I continue to believe he was a fallback. The real goal wasn't either of those guys it was Lebron or Kawhi but all this is ancient history at this point

I think Terence Davis is a priority signing. Shouldn't take more than the tMLE. Guy puts up 25/8/4/2 including a ridiculous 13.8 3PA per 100 at 54.5% eFG. Would seriously consider starting him next to Maxey next year if Harden is gone. Would stretch the floor like crazy and work great off Embiid DHO like Curry and Redick did before.

Yeah man, I suggested Davis ever since I saw what he did in the Golden State series. He is a perfect fit with us. He's a stone cold killer from three if you leave him open. I would sign him to the MLE and turn him loose as a starter. There's a lot of potential there with him. Go watch his highlight reel against Brooklyn.
