I did not have Alcaraz physically breaking down on my bingo card for this one. Especially after 2 days off between matches.

Same. So weird. Sounds like it's hot, but not like AO hot. Conditioning flub for sure.

Ngl I skimmed past this post and thought that the prison island had collapsed into the bay for a minute or something.

Re: OT: General OT Thread [NO POLITICS, RACE OR RELIGION]
Yahoo data breach settlements finally are getting paid out (it happened four years ago). Mind you I'd obviously prefer it never happened, but I'm pleasantly surprised that the payout isn't like $1.50. Over $100 - didn't expect that at all. Data privacy, laws about it, and our populace caring whatsoever are still all pathetic, but an upward trend is at least the right direction.

Stayed over at a buddy's with a two year old who woke me up at six crying and throwing a fit. No big deal, I got a couple of my own. But it made me realize that crying children are like farts: Your own are tolerable but other people's are horrible!

So....yeah. Saudi Arabia bought the sport of golf.

Commissioner Jay Monahan told PGA Tour employees during a meeting Thursday that it couldn't financially afford to keep spending tens of millions of dollars in its legal fight against Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund while continuing to increase its own purses to keep players from defecting to the rival LIV Golf League, according to a report Saturday by the Wall Street Journal.
Monahan, during a meeting at PGA Tour headquarters in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, reportedly told employees that the financial model wasn't sustainable while fighting Saudi Arabia's sovereign wealth fund, which reportedly has $620 billion in assets.

And immediately bring him to Milwaukee. Dude would actually make the Brewers sort of entertaining.

I know we try to shy away from politics, and I frankly am completely disinterested in golf- but I'd encourage folks to seek out the current episode of Pod Save The World and listen to the short rant from Ben Rhodes about this.

I can’t complain, but I’m going to. Newborn stage sucks. I’ve gotten 11 hours of sleep total the last 4 days and I have a toddler at home too since it’s the weekend. Baby is healthy, but holy crap this stage sucks. Eat, poop, cry, sleep. Just get to 1-2 months old and we’ll be in so much better of a spot.

Damn, I'm 394 months overdue on getting past that stage.
Edit - also congrats on the child. I don't foresee myself having one, lady feels the same, due to anxiety about financials but it is something I occassionally wish I was built for.
Inadequate perception I reckon it's from the Valium
