Anyone else think Pascal’s association with RedBull is interesting? RedBull is known as an international sports sponsor of unique extreme sports and of course a very successful F-1 team, the fact they’ve decided to partner with a Raptors player speaks highly of their belief in our current and potential “international appeal”!! Or am I just over analyzing this? :o

I was scouring the web for Raptor stuff, and I saw Otto Porter in a Raptors Jersey. I was like "WTF?!", then I remembered we did sign Otto. lol

He might as well be going up against a pylon.

Hope he gets back his touch from 3 like in the second half of last year. Wasn't looking so hot at Rico. That will be huge for him.

Precious's handle looked good at the Rico runs, but his outside shooting and finishing on drives that weren't dunks were pretty shaky.

Love watching Siakam go to work at Rico. It is a treat to be able to stay connected in this way to a player's offseason.

One observation I had is that we can all attest to Pascal taking what maybe a week or two off, but otherwise training and being at the Rico Runs all summer. I mean no one works as hard as this guy at being his best self in basketball.

Now imagine him having that 2020 COVID/pandemic disrupted year. His so-called bad season was probably directly tied to the fact that he could not work as he normally does in the offseason. Even last year he had a bit of disruption due to injury recovery.

I kind of expect major upward progress from Pascal this year. He is back to his routine, and he is going to come into camp and be ready to take a step this year.

Looking like Magic Banton. Would love to see him be aggressive and try to blow by his defender more like he does here. Doesn’t look like anyone’s playing defense all that seriously though.

I think that’s who he is naturally. It’s interesting because you can see the clear deficiencies in dribbling in this video but you can also see that he just sees the game really well. Most guys who process the game well can stick if they have an NBA level skill. For Banton, developing that NBA level skill is going to be a dealbreaker for him. Personally, I think he can stick in the league as a change of pace combo guard who can facilitate the O, defend the ball, get steals, make sneaky cuts and grab offensive boards. He’s gotta cut down the turnovers and become a reliable shooter, though.
not strong, only aggresive cuz the power ain't directed/ that's why, we are subjected to the will of the oppressive

Really that's all it is, remove the turnovers caused by his slow hang dribble, and knock down ya jumpers more consistently. His improved ft% was good to see

Banton always looks like he's just going through the motions.
