I don't expect he's going to come in and drop 26-5

Simply being able to score over 100 would help .. as long as we don't give up more points.

we are down 3-1. Herro has nothing to worry about, re: disrupting chemistry. That's all over, we're about to get bounced. Might as well come in and see if he can help turn things around.

Maybe, he comes in, drops 22 pts, and gives us a new wrinkle to lead us to victory in game 5. If not, at least we tried everything.

The problem is who is willing to bite. awful contract, one of the untradeable contracts in the NBA and the first year of it has not kicked in yet. Should have let him seek an offer sheet to match, we would have matched it at a 40% discount, or let him walk. Bad salary cap management

Major hyperbole

23 year old 20 ppg scorer and career 38% volume 3-point shooter who can create his own offense and is locked in on a rookie scale extension for 4 years is so far from untradeable in a league where nearly every team is desperate for more reliable 3 pt shooting.

Watch the contracts that go to comparable players over the next 2 offseasons as the cap continues to rise.

His contract comparison is Jalen Brunson, and Herro is not in that league. Limited offensive player and a revolving door defensively

If Herro is limited offensively what does that make the rest of the team

Does this mean Hallstar is returning for game 5 as well?

If he's hitting then we'll have someone who won't think twice about going bucket for bucket with Murray. Also ... at this point less Max has to help. Anything that keeps Max off the court or relieves pressure from him if he does play has to help. Dude is melting.

It's unfortunate about Strus. He was playing so well earlier. It's not even what Denver is doing against him.... Strus is getting open looks. He just forgot how to shoot.

If he is going to be this type of streaky inconsistent, he's not going to get that big bag he wanted.

I'd be happy if Herro can just help break up the suck for 1 game. Anything to get out of this losing mindset.

That bag disappeared in game 1, he might be learning Chinese soon too.

Nihao in 5, n...

I like making up chinese sports team names for Strus. The Shanghai Tigers. The Beijing Beavers. The Shenzhen Supers.

If Strus is scorless again I swear.. 16% shooting for a starting SG. If he shoot 40% we could be in at least 2-2.
It is what it is. We gonna have to find some better dependable shooters in the off season.
Just fight, do not let go and get blown out.

Return to Miami Heat
