I get that these guys are very young but JEEZ! The level of STUPID runs rampant in some, Melo and Miles included. NBA needs to take all draftees through an equivalent of “Scared Straight”, the old crime preventative program for youth. Instead of showing prisons and prisoner life, take them through the perils of clingers, posse grifters, booty babes and drug dangers. Point out the past losers who could have been great but ended up stragglers or out of the league due to this crap.

whatever the deal is, I want Alvarado or Herb coming back. a trade like this = win now. Would want to add one of their scrappy defenders.

let's see how aggressive they truly are. Zion+Murphy+14/Laker pick. Zion+Murphy+Daniels. Extra crazy: Zion+Ingram for pick+other things to bring both Carolina dudes home.

We'd have to bend somewhere in the middle, but we own the keys to this draft and can squeeze as much out of NOLA as possible if they really really want him. I don't trust Kupchak to do these negotiations right.

How about we bring in Portland and combine some rumors.

Ingram, 39 and 27 to Portland
Simmons, 14 and 3 to Charlotte
Hayward and 2 to NO

Something around this. Portland gets its proven piece and still some young roster fillers. NO gets Scoot for sliding up and we add three young pieces to our core of Melo, Bridges and Williams. I tried to work Rozier to Portland too as a win now move but couldn't make salaries work.

Butt anyways..

I was considering Ingram, Herb and 14 for 2.

Then I looked at Ingram's stats and realized he hasn't played more than 62 games since his rookie year.

So I'm not interested in anything they have.
