I want Miller, but if we can get a scoring wing like Ingram we have to pull the trigger. This team needs talent and Ingram is one of the better scorers in the league.

Hayward/Scoot for Ingram/Herb

Melo/Herb/Ingram/Bridges/Williams is a playoff team.

But he can't stay healthy either. That is why NO needs to get off one of him or Zion. Can't have two injury prone stars. I would rather get some young pieces on the team. If we could somehow work getting the 3 and a young piece that would be huge. I would love Trey or Sharpe but I think those would be long shots.

Maybe they just need a change of scenery and a new medical staff?lol

Seriously how do their stars both injury prone. That training staff not properly training them.

Well we have the staff monitoring Hayward so don’t count me on optimistic for a change.

Find a way to move down to 3 take Miller and get one of the Pels defensive aces and a protected future first.

That's not a bad idea either. I assume Zion or Ingram would be headed to Portland in this scenario.

We get Herb Jones and #3 pick which we draft Miller.

I'd be elated if we could pull that off.

My initial reaction is I'd be very interested in moving 2 + Hayward for Ingram but I'd expect other significant assets and am not up on NOP enough to know what would make sense.

My only problem with Ingram is like Zion he misses a ton of games, and obviously he's not as talented as Zion.

A wing who could average 25, 5 and 5 would be amazing though.

This is a dilemma if Zion and other pieces are on the table for Scoot. Zion has been a bit of a mess in NO, but there’s not denying he’s insanely talented and dominant when healthy. He wouldn’t be available if he didn’t have the risk though.

This is the deal, we get Miller at 3 and New Orleans sends us one of their good future picks.

100% if we can turn Rozier, #2 and #27 into Simons, #3 and #14/future first I'd be ecstatic.

A little more hesitant if it is Hayward's expiring but still interested as Simons has a very similar contract to Rozier, same length, slightly more money and more guaranteed in the last year.

Simons is basically a 24 year old version of Rozier on a near-identical contract.

Wouldn't mind Miller plus a haul of young players and future picks but why are the Pels leaking this?

Let's take a look at Mitch Kupchak's trade history and see if a positive swap might be in the cards...

Sigh. Never mind.

We can't forget MJ is the owner.

No doubt in my mind he wants Zion even with his injury history. He's also a Jordan brand athlete and is from SC.

I’m not too keen on Simons as I tire of undersized shooting guards regardless of their scoring. But the constructs of such a deal (we get #3 for Miller, #14 and a player swap for a starter at the 2) is appealing. Daniels maybe coming back would be OK but not sold on him yet. I’d bet big $ that Ingram isn’t being traded in such a move up deal..he’s too valuable. They probably want to dump Zion, and I don’t want any part of his sweaty self on this team.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Same reason we're apparently leaking that Scoot looked like a combination of Michael Jordan and Julius Irving in his workout. Agape and all.

I agree I'm not huge on Simons but if we get the extra assets, plus still draft Miller and swap Rozier for a 5 year younger Rozier clone on a similar contract then why not?

Going by the leak from Shams apparently the Pels are buying it.
