Massive offseason especially since we are ready 11 million over the tax line with 19 million tax bill with only 8 players signed and one being Dipo when he opts in is most likely out of the year. I expect him to be stretched and waived saving us 6 million off that number. We need to trade one of our bloated salaries for multiple players to help fill out the roster.

I think you’re understating Dipos expiring, that’ll be a good added trade chip for filler. Team want the expiring, they don’t care about the player. With Lowry and Dipo we have Westbrook money in expirings

Bam's defensive impact was pretty massive, he had a good game overall. Also got whacked with no call a few times which hurts his efficiency.

He played hard but offensively he is too limited. I know he is great on defense but it's very hard to win when your max players are not capable of scoring 30 plus. I am tired of people giving him a pass only because he is a great defender. He needs to be great on both ends of the floor. 20 points is just not good enough.

"Max salary" doesn't mean what you think it means. Max salary just means that the Heat gave him the most money that he was eligible for. There are tons of guys making more.

Russell Westrook and John Wall both made $17 million more than Bam this season.
Klay Thompson made $10 million more than Bam.
Kemba Walker made $7 million more than Bam.
Myles Turner made $5 million more than Bam.
Andrew Wiggins made $3 million more than Bam.
Kevin Love made $2 million more than Bam.

Every time his contract is brought up it brings me to a simple question that I never get the answer from (out of those crying over a contract every team in the league would give him). How many players on at least their 2nd nba contract make the same or less than Bam that are clearly better than him?

Valiant effort. But definitely a bizarre series by Jimmy. He seemingly has been on fumes for a minute. He was never quite the same after the ankle injury.

All in all, a nice little run to enjoy as a fan. This franchise will always push it to the limit. And for that, I’ll always appreciate the product.

I def think Herro is going to request a trade. To not play one of your best players after he was cleared from injury; not a single minute? Can't possibly sit well with him.

Now that I've come to grips with Miami losing the series, I want to thank the Heat organization for this wonderful playoff run. I know we didn't win the chip, but we'll be back next year. Lastly, next week I'm starting my journey around the world, so see you guys next year. Peace.

The shooters went cold in that series is what I'm saying. Unless I'm totally misremembering.

Its a domino effect. You take out our top scorer, then our defensive hub.....role playing shooters cant compensate for that. Its a delicate balance. Inuries suck so bad. Luck is what you need. With luck, Hakeem wins more chips than Jordan.

Regardless, it always feels like our core of shooters all get ice cold for too long whether it's all regular season (this year) or all playoffs (last year). I know every team that shoots a lot of 3s is streaky but these cold spells are our doom more than anything else.

ALL shooters are streaky. We need a revamp. Butler is 50 NBA years old. He plays physical he will get hurt. His role playing shooters can not compensate for him.
