From 1 to 5, you can't leave any of their starters open at the 3-point line.
While Smart had a very good playoffs, his shooting is still too inconsistent, teams are still intentionally leaving him open.
I know it's not a popular choice and Brad may not trade Smart, but Smart is really not a PG and the Cs are better off finding someone better to play PG.
So either trade Smart or make him a SG.
I agree with all you’ve said except make Smart a SG. Shooting guard means somebody that can actually shoot lol.
Remember the game against the bucks with all the starters missing and the bucks had everyone on their home floor. They barely beat us in OT. It’s because we had a lineup of white, brogdon, hauser, PP, grant and muscala. Griffin played as well, and Joe benched Rob. The bucks had a hard time defending us because everyone inside was a threat from deep. Since the Jays weren’t playing, the ball movement was great. No ball stoppers. Same thing with what you said with the nuggets. Problem with our team in the playoffs. You have guys like brown and smart who are poor to average shooters. Rob a non shooter. Tatum, horf and brogdon are too inconsistent shooters. and we still kept on chucking 3’s. Our best shooters are not playing, or playing on limited mins.
