Hawks need to have better players, not lesser players. Having another consistent 20+ point scorer on this team is a need, not another 12 ppg role playing guy.

That is not a good look for the league when they allow some of their top players to be moved for 2nds.

That is not a good look for the league when they allow some of their top players to be moved for 2nds.

This is solely on the Wizards. They learned nothing from extending John Wall to a max, then did the same with Beal and gave him a NTC. :nonono:

His contract is so high and the trade clause is why Washington didn't have leverage. They caused this on their own. He's only made the all-star team three times.

Draymond Green has declined his $27.6 million player option for the 2023-24 season according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.

As expected, Green is opting out of the final year of his contract. He now goes into this offseason as an unrestricted free agent. The possibilities for a new deal, Green leaving for a new destination or even a sign-and-trade are all on the table now. Green, a former DPOY and eight-time NBA All-Defensive team honoree, has been one of the core components to the Warriors' four championships over the past decade.

According to TNT's Chris Haynes, the Wizards are expected to re-route Chris Paul before completing their trade with Phoenix, and the Clippers are interested in acquiring him.

No surprises here, as CP3 wants to finish out his career chasing a title. The Wizards' playoffs hopes are slim-to-none, and reuniting Paul with the Clippers would finally give LA a star-caliber point guard to run an offense led by Kawhi Leonard and Paul George.
