There won’t be many suitors but lowballing does not seem realistic either. The Duncan contract alone kinda negates Wiz looking to shed salary. If they want full salary shed then Tobias Harris or Khris Middleton contract alone with pick or picks sounds a lot more enticing.

Middleton would have to opt into his player option which reports were that he was not going to.

At 31 coming off knee surgery after the playoffs might not be very wise. Who’s paying him 40 mil per?

Herro, Lowry, and 1st for Beal and Monte Morris(Only 27) looks like a really good deal to me and for both sides. Might not even need the first.

Trying to grab his last big long term deal. Even coming off surgery it's still worth doing it one year younger.

I’m not impressed, let’s add some firepower and run it back

Was pretty **** up. I know we're not a leading scoring team but that BS offensive display we showed in the Finals is haunting.

same exact problem we had last year. i feel like Pat will not just run it back this time. we will make a big splash trade.

I would LOVE getting Monte Morris in a hypothetical Beal deal. Dude just doesn't turn the ball over and is very efficient.

I can already taste Beal on the Heat tbh with his lowered trade value. We have enough to make a deal without trading Butler/Bam. On the other hand Dame would just be more expensive and less worthwhile in totality and Portland/Dame are acting like the obsessed delusional spouse teetering on divorce but still adamant on patching things together.

That said, playing with Butler and Bam would relieve defensive attention from him. Spo would have Beal looking like a less athletic/explosive more efficient Kobe. Obviously they aren't the same caliber but point being his offense/shot creation would really shine on the Heat while still contending for a title.

Then you have dipos expiring Duncan and 2-3 1sts (Jovic if needed) to get another deal(s) done to shore up the rest of the roster. Preferably at minimum a starting level 3 and D 4/5 to put next to Bam

I may be in the minority but I would want to keep duncan if we can’t get anything significant out of him.

If we can dump those two deals with the picks it opens up the door to sign vet free agents and keep our own

Nuggets loved him, KCP just fit their needs much better. He was in Miami for game 3
