Here's news to your ears: Last year, they might have outscored their opponents. This year beside from the Cavs and the Hawks every team in the East improved. KG, Ray Allen, Randolph, Shard, Jason Richardson, and Gilbert coming back are in the east, so if the east is healthy don't expect you guys to breeze through it any more.

I know I was trolling in my earlier post about the Bulls, but Paxson was an idiot to sign Big Ben. The guy was the worst player on the team and Webber replaced him easily. Big Ben is the equivalent of Tony Battie starting: All defense, mild offense in form of dunks or lay-ups, and absolutely no clutch free throws what so ever. It's not like there was a dire need for him, anyways. I'm sure the Bulls would have made the playoffs if they hadn't signed him. They could have signed someone like Arenas, Duncan, Al Jefferson, Okafor, A.I., Jermaine O'Neal, Elton Brand, Corey Maggette, VC, Marion, Artest, or Jamison. All of whom except O'Neal probably would have helped the franchise a great deal more than Big Ben. Paxson also needs veterans on the Bulls team. He just drafts every pick that the Bulls get. On paper, the Bulls are not much better than the Bobcats or the Kings, but they somehow get in the playoffs every year, but miserably fail (point in case games 1,2, and 5 vs pistons.) They are like the D-Backs in baseball, luck! luck! luck! But in a way all of you are fairweather fans, the analysts absolutely adore the Bulls and every year they say that this year the young team will break out and win a championship. But I will admit that all between you and the division title is the Pistons. (I hate the Cavs.)

Do bad teams sweep the defending champions? Is it lucky that the Bulls had the third most wins in the Eastern Conference last year? No. It can be very simply said that the Bulls are one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference. They have been good for about the last three years, and it has been done with defense, strong coaching and determination, and with great play with a talented nucleus of players.

Granted, I don't think every move a general manager makes is accepted by a certain fan base. But you cannot reject the fact that Paxson took a dump of a franchise Krause left and turned it around into a legitimate 50 win contender. And you do not win 50 games by "luck."

By you saying that the Bulls are lucky makes me wonder if you actually watch the Bulls. People that continually doubt the Bulls and teams similar to them are usually people that only follow the big name players on big name teams, like ESPN watchers.

The only legitimate contenders to the Bulls this year are the Cavs, Pistons, and Celtics. Some other teams that are close are Miami, New Jersey, Toronto, or even Washington or maybe even Orlando.

Do not forget, the Bulls improved as well. Joe Smith is a valuable upgrade over PJ Brown. Also, adding Joakim Noah and Aaron Gray gives up more and better depth with our big men. They are ready to play at the NBA level right now. Our defense will be even better this year.

Our record over the two previous seasons was 19-6. He has the #1 recruiting class right now. He's not the best coach for sure, but I don't think one bad season makes him the worst. And after years of terrible recruiting, he's finally bringing back the star high schoolers to ND. If he's still struggling in a couple years, then we'll have to make a change.

The one thing you forget Posey H8er is that Wade was hurt and couldn't play nearly as good as he did in 05-06 and Shaq was out of shape.

Sorry cold5 but talking hoops with you is like talking hoops with my dog. As far as I'm concerned you've lost all credibility regarding anything basketball.

The end.

I have the Red Sox. It is going to be tough for the Rockies to come out and play after an 8 day rest.

I say it starts out, Beckett wins, Jimenez wins, Fogg wins, up for grabs (no idea whos pitching), Beckett wins, Schilling wins. So that's at least 4-2 Red Sox.

Thanks guys for the birthday wishes, forgot I even posted it on this thread.

Anyways, its 3:47am and I'm up, wide awake. I went Thurs-night bar drinking and I woke up and realized an hour later I'd have to take a nap before the Bulls game.

Raise your hand if your team's undefeated. *raises hand*

And look down in shame if your team is winless.

It's okay, I'm sure the Bulls will win some day. Mwahaha.
