Absolute delight, and a truly excellent reaction to Da Bomb. Definitely one of the better recent ones.

Berhalter coming back? Uninspired choice. I wonder how many people they struck out with before going back to Gregggggggg. I know Patrick Viera was interested, but he hasn't exactly succeeded as a manager thus far.
The dynamic between Berhalter and Reyna is going to be very humorous to watch.

Happy for Pulisic. Dude's had a rough year, and I only pay attention adjacently.

Mexico decided to go full bush league.
I’m old enough to remember when they were good. Or at least good enough to beat US from time to time. Pathetic display.

I read an article when the dust was settling on the Berhalter/Reyna stuff and it talked about how difficult it was going to be to find a dynamic choice for USMNT manager. Dysfunctional front office of USMNT, lack of actual ability to make impact as manager, other stuff I forget. I finished article thinking Berhalter should just come back.

The entire current crop of super talented players are a direct result of Klinsmann doing his best to thwart pay for play.
Yet, USMNT management isn't about long term success, they are about short term profits.

ReasonablySober wrote:Subscribed to Chefsteps this week. I made a little brick of homemade sharp cheddar singles last night (pretty simple, pretty cool process). This morning I made shokupan dough that's gonna take most of the day to proof. Ordered pullman loaf pans specifically for this recipe.
A grilled cheese.
The shokupan ended up getting a C. Very light, but I think I over-proofed the dough.
The homemade craft singles got an A+. This was super awesome and I really can't overstate how much better it makes an already perfect sandwich. Try this.
I made roast pork today and I'm currently baking Philly cheesesteak style sandwich rolls. Got some sharp provolone, gonna make some sautéed spinach with olive oil and garlic and have killer sandwiches this weekend.
The smells have been good today.

How do you know when you "made it" professionally. Like is there a timeline beyond a honeymoon phase in a job, or is it a scenario where you just know when you know.
