It’s weird how much Mike Malone and Denver hate the Lakers. Not sure when or how it all started but it’s a weird obsession and definitely one sided.

What makes you say they hate the Lakers? Malone and LBJ have a great relationship, as evidenced by their glowing words about each other over the years.

What Malone hated was the narrative the media head-wobblers were running with, and the perceived lack of respect or air time the team got.

I don’t know man, looks like a hell of a lot of fun to me.

I know I’d rather be drinking and celebrating my teams championship with thousands (nearly millions of others), than crying about a parade where people are having fun on a message board.

wow, that's a lot! Especially for mid-small market.
Probably from all over Colorado and surrounding states, too.

Definitely an impressive turnout for a city and region that has been dominated by the successes of their football and hockey teams. To put it into perspective, the parade started at 10 am on a freaking work day.

5 million people live about an hour or less from downtown Denver. So it's not as small as you would think.

It took me awhile to check out the parade speeches but yeah Malone is the f*cking man lmao.

I know my Raps don't have a chance next year lol so I'm hoping to see a DEN/MIL Finals, battle of who is the best player in the league and nothing better than organically grown teams and non-large market bs the media tries push down people's throats.
