I can’t even get excited about this series.

Still, I feel the need to post the obligatory “Yankees suck!”

Knicks took the 1st game of the Mediocrity Bowl.

Should play all these games in Staten Island.

This Yankee roster is completely rotten from top to bottom. Cashman has built himself quite a pile of 40 man excrement. It is like someone handed him a $300 million dollar check and he spent it all on hand me downs at the Goodwill store. Is there really any player outside of Judge and Cole that any team would desire in a blockbuster trade? Washed up hasbeens, overpaid injury prone players,AAAA players, underdeveloped rookies, below than average utility men and journeymen.I suggested that we should have a firesale at the deadline, but what contending team would want any of these bums?

How would like our pitching staff? We suck too.

At least Cohen is willing to spend on top free agents and the Mets don't have a cancer like Cashman that has been sitting in the front office for 25 years.

10 hits and we lose by **** 10..... Donaldson had 2 hits today yet he's hitting .160....

Our roster looks like a scrapheap pile.... Even w Judge and Bader this is ridiculous

How Boone and Cashman continue to be brought back is just a joke

Does anyone even give a sh*t about this team or this season anymore? I haven't cared since the 1st week, other than to see how Volpe is doing, and it appears he's another in a long line of overhyped Yankee "prospects"

Has he even crossed the Mendoza Line yet?

Josh Donaldson has 531 ABs as a Yankee. His slash line is .215/.300/.386.... 686 OPS and a 95 OPS+

The man is done as a player. He even indicated that he’ll retire after this season. Why the heck do the Yankees not want to let go of this guy?

Teams like the Twins and Marlins must love there being such a dense GM like Cashman around, to take their hideous contracts off their hands. Why does Hal allow him to blow so many of his millions doing this?

Donaldson is horrible. George would've just cut him and eaten the contract. Unless the Yanks intend on opening up the checkbook for Ohtani and others this off season, they need to rebuild. It's one or the other.

The Mets need to make a similar decision given the overall age of its pitching staff.

I went down to the crossroads
Tried to catch a ride.

What a joke, Judge should just pull a Kyrie on this team and refuse to play this year. For one their not winning **** obviously, Hal and Cashmans roster needs to be fully exposed with empty seats at the stadium and lost revenue.

Stanton is so washed almost as much as Donaldson. Jeter made Cashman look like a fool in that trade.

We're linked to Cody Bellinger? why is that not a surprise.... he hit .210 last season, .165 the season before... at best he's a .240-.250 hitter

Judge might have a torn ligament. So it's looking like this will be a wasted year. Just let the kids come up and let them figure it out. Better off then letting these old farts rot here.

EDIT: so our problem seems to be our non existent offense. Our pitching is pretty good, just need to get some starters back and our bullpen is one of the best in the league. But our offense is a dub, our pitchers have to pitch an ace like game every time they step on the mound for us to win. Our hitters aren't giving us anything what a shame.

This team is just poorly built (not just in terms of balance but mentality and fight) and lack the type of motivation (be it among the players or the management) that championship caliber teams have. Injuries to key players? Sure but the Yankees aren't exclusive here so the team can only use that excuse so much. They just are not able to produce and that's mental and makeup.
