Crazy...I was just working on a 4 team deal where the Suns get Jrue. Didn't know they prefered Beal.

So it comes down to Miami picks vs Ayton?

Well, they shouldn’t. The fit is not good. And with a guy paid like that you probably don’t want him to be duplicative of your best player.

I don't agree with that. Beal is a plug and play type of player. He's not ball dominant, and he can play both guard spots. Him and Booker can absolutely play off each other.

PHX can add a ‘29 pick at the draft, is that right?
Edit: make that ‘31 lol. Man they traded a lot of picks.

Basically two teams with very little in assets. As I stated in the other thread, his market is very soft.

Who plays point for the Suns? Seems like a disaster.
Ingles is cooked.

Okay, but Beal-Booker-Durant all have the exact same playstyle and Beal and Durant are not good at defense right now.

The Suns will have basically no room to fit ball handlers and defenders around them.

For Washington I much prefer a potential Heat offer, but with his NTC I suppose he can pretty much go where he wants.

If you mean two of the best combo guards in the NBA redundant, I agree. This isn’t the way I thought they were going but I’m not worried about the fit. That’s three guys who can all score in iso and catch/shoot, facilitate and initiate. I love the fit.

If the waive and stretch CP they are $20M under the tax and $26M under the hard cap with 6 players on the roster assuming Ayton/Shamet are traded.

Still hard to believe.

Yes it’s going to be those 3 and a bunch of vet minimum guys. I don’t even think they will have an MLE as I think it’s unavoidable that they will be past the second apron.

Nah, they can stretch and waive CP and get pretty far under the first apron.

If you’re the Wizards, why would you even want Ayton? Dude looked like the ultimate fall off a cliff after the second contract guy last season. I know the Beal market is soft, but this does not seem like a well thought out plan. Wiz gonna Wiz, I guess.

If say the deal is this:

Lowry+Herro+18+MIA27FRP
For
Beal+Morris/Wright

Wiz are trying to squeeze the MIA29FRP out too
