I mean Booker, Beal and Durant can all initiate offfense.
But who runs the offense? Has Booker ran offense for Phoenix for more than 20 games?

I don't think so. If it's down to these two teams, Miami can put together a better package with just one first.zimpy27 wrote:If say the deal is this:

Wiz are trying to squeeze the MIA29FRP out too

This seems logical. Or they value Ayton? Idk.

Yes. I don't want to give up 2 first round picks and put ourselves over the second apron for Bradley Beal. I'm iffy on acquiring him with Robinson in place of Lowry and only 1 first going out. His contract is awful and he isn't exactly an ironman...zimpy27 wrote:BBallFreak wrote:I don't think so. Maybe, I guess we will wait and see.
Would you be unhappy with this?

Okay, but Beal-Booker-Durant all have the exact same playstyle and Beal and Durant are not good at defense right now.
The Suns will have basically no room to fit ball handlers and defenders around them.
Yes it’s going to be those 3 and a bunch of vet minimum guys. I don’t even think they will have an MLE as I think it’s unavoidable that they will be past the second apron.
Nah, they can stretch and waive CP and get pretty far under the first apron.

If they trade Ayton and Shamet
KD 48 million
Beal 47 million
Booker 36 million
CP I believe has 14 million guarantee
Payne 6.5 million
That’s 155 million and the second tax apron is 179.5?
At least 10 slots to fill? That’s just 24 million left over for those roster spots.
NBA vet minimum is 2.7 million.
The math says 10 vet minimum guys and they still exceed the 2nd apron and all the penalties that go with it.

Plus 15 million in dead cap from CP3

CP can be stretched over 5 years at $3.2M per. Vet minimums over 3 years will count $1.98M against the cap. Second round picks and undrafted guys are less. Also have Ish Smith at $1.9M currently on the roster.
KD/Booker/Beal/Payne/Smith = $142M
First apron is +/-$168M
Suns room = +/-$26M for 8 or 9 players.

CP3+Ayton for Beal+Wright
Something like that could make sense. The centrepiece would be Ayton.
I do like an Ayton centrepiece for Beal. Wiz need a young player with potential and/or a pick in the current draft to even consider moving Beal.
Still think Miami has this deal beat.
