how the **** does phoenix have enough assets to acquire Durant last offseason, and Beal the very next summer, BEATING ALL of our offers?

Pat must be lowballing again

Of course he's lowballing! His biggest trade asset is leverage and loves to lowball with the take it or leave it. I do wonder how many trades he's lost doing that.

How much help does KD need? This dude is not better than Wade with his 2 fluke championships and consistently trying to overpower every team he’s on.

They don't...again, the thing that WAS is ultimately going to benefit from in a Beal deal is getting off his contract and getting expirings. This talk about Herro plus picks was crazy to begin with when understanding the no trade clause combined with his contract.

The asset is getting off money!

fine, then we find a 3rd team who has an asset that WASH could use to get off money, like the cp3 contract. we send 3rd team our assets, and they send WASH that player, and we get beal

Matt Ishbia doesn’t give a damn about your tax.

Right but quite honestly maybe Miami doesn't have to do that. Washington can be in talks with whoever, it still takes Beal accepting the team and the actual trade that Washington is getting back. This is why normal assets probably aren't needed because if I'm Beal, I don't want any draft assets leaving my soon to be team and with that he can say remove that 1st round pick or I'm not lifting my NTC.

This is a very unique situation and it's why NTC don't usually happen, it can screw teams and more than likely is screwing Washington. Their old GM Tommy Sheppard better stay far away from Washington, his health could be in danger there.

Lillard and Beal on this team is literally overkill, I don’t know why y’all even want that. It’s one or the other.

Lillard isnt happening, like at all, null. Beal or Kyrie is the ones your likely to pull with Beal being the easiest

Keywords "just connecting the dots" "You'd think" meaning they do not know what the offer are at this moment, just a personal thought expressing out loud.

It's going to be interesting to see what trade Beal will accept. The whole NTC comes down to him accepting dropping his NTC based on the actual trade, the team is just part of the equation. Beal and Washington may have come to an understanding what he will accept being trading from his soon to be new team.

Now its Lief, Windy and Ira saying the package is small and not involving Duncan or Herro
