I tried buying him until 11:00 pm (under the Hawaii time zone theory), but he doubled down on 5:00 pm Eastern.

Why does anyone quoting Ethan J Skolnick mean anything. He’s a LARPER at this point too. Once something goes a different direction they’ll casually deflect like they knew all along

I highly doubt that Jovic starts the season with us, but I am intrigued by him and his skill set in our system. He would fit perfectly. Keep him out for as long as possible, but don’t let any deal fall apart for him, but also don’t use him to overpay.

I’d highly like to keep Jovic, add him in the trade for what, just give a draft pick or something.

It's not that he is untouchable, it's more that Utah feels like our offer is trash and are telling us to go bleep ourselves. Now if we can turn our offer into something that might interest them via a third team sure. Is that realistic, not really but we can try.

It’s reported he’s untouchable

Is makes the following moves not only easier, but almost guaranteed. And it solved the cap problems.

And makes us significantly better.
I don't think he was exposed, he was whining about what he wanted the Heat to do.

My dream is to see Bam as the starting 4 because we have a stretch 5 that is tall enough to rebound well and good enough to spread the floor, but is also a good defender.

Brook Lopez fits so much with what we need at the five next to Bam.. it makes too much sense that Riley and Spo would be interested. you give him a 2-3 year deal with the third being a player option that aligns with Butlers contract.. i dont think he can be had at minimum but i dont think its impossible to somehow fit him in.. riley will find a way..

Why is it that Miami apparently is offering Jovic and/or picks in addition to the ballast (Lowry & Dipo) if Phoenix is only offering CP3 and Shamet?!

We got beat by Jokic, we should try to maintain a 6’11 239lb Serbian player you would think, Having guard like skills at his size is rare. If we trade him watch he ends up becoming a superstar.

Looking through all rosters and options and looking at a lot of team threads on here, both Detroit and Orlando make sense for Herro

Agreed, he can find a nice role on a team like that. He’d be a good candidate for all star

I just wonder who's the big we can get in the secondary move.

M.turner makes a ton of sense, and he's making less then Herro - which is a must

Is there a PF that fits next to Bam, that makes around 11-15 Mil, and could be had for Duncan + a pick?

Zach Collins fits the mold. I think the Spurs like the idea of him next to Wemby tho. Not clear how attainable.

If we’re losing Duncan using picks to trade with SA for Collins and McDermott could be a nice lineup balancing move.
