I swear, if Beal ends up leveraging his NTC to force WAS to take CP3 and Shamat and NOTHING else and they actually take it. I will lose my mind.

To be honest I don't really believe PHX media when it comes to this stuff when so many national guys have said his preference is Miami and WAS gave permission to Beal to speak to MIL and MIA and PHX was never mentioned.

Wiz getting Jovic back alone trumps any offer from the Suns even with them having to eat Robinson's deal. We might have to toss in a pick to really get this over the hump especially since Herro's not in this deal. Just need to hope we can flip Herro for players who are going to fit and recoup some assets.

It does not matter what the Wiz wants. They are currently being hostage by Beal's NTC.

It was really a stupid move by them to include that. By the current looks, it looks like Beal is pushing the deal to PHX but Wiz is hesitant since they are not gaining much compared to what the Heat is offering.

Once again and like many on the Wiz board are saying just because he has a NTC does not mean it's a sign that they are forced to trade him for anything. They can just sit. His salary is not really affecting anything much for them right now other then it's on there books but who are they going to sign anyway? They can drag this out and if Beal wants to play hard ball they can just sit him and tank. We have to be somewhat respectful with our offer so all sides can approve. Right now the first miracle alone is the possibility of them eating Duncan's contract just to get the assets because of the NTC.

A lot of shenanigans for leverage at this time. It's a circus out here.

Again will not subscribe to any of this Beal sh*t until Woj drops that bomb.
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

It looks like this gonna drag for a while if he really wants to go west. I feel like this is a done deal already if he wants to go here. We have the best package of all teams.

I know no one really believes Adam. But he seems to be confident that the hang-up currently is the picks.

Appears Miami is offering #18 and a pick swap and WAS want #18 and a future FRP. Most likely protected.

My guess is Miami wouldn't budge on that. We have been getting ass blasted by the protected 2025 pick we sent to OKC for the past 3yrs so I highly doubt Miami is going to put themselves in that position again from 2028 onwards when they have finally gotten rid of the 2025 protections.

His path is easier with the Heat but we'll know in the coming days if he is indeed the Bus driver or just a dude who just wants to hop in and play.

Beal, KD, and Book would be pretty damn formidable imo

It is really is Bish but the West is no joke. The path to the finals there would be 2x as hard as always.

You got Denver, the up-and-coming Thunder, Warriors that is still relevant, the Lakers with a bit of retooling could be good too, and the Mavs could also wake up from this.

East is open wide as ever next season.

Nuggets got KCP, Brown and Gordon to make those 3 work for their buckets. PHX got no one to slow down Murray and definitely no one to slow down Jokic.

Nuggets got two players who can get you 10-15 asts and they play as a team.

PHX will have 3 guys who play mostly for themselves and call their own number.

After winning DEN probably going to pick some good role players up for cheap. PHX are trading away depth.

Don't forget KD randomly getting injured for a month or two in the reg season :noway: His teams usually start losing after he gets injured cause they have no depth

Miami have at least proven 2/3 times that they can get through the current builds of the Bucks and Boston in the East and thats without Beal and once without the guy Beal is replacing.

I don’t know man. I’m getting nervous that a few days from now we’ll be saying “I can’t believe we lost Beal because we didn’t want to give up Herro or Jovic”.

If we can get Beal without giving up Tyler and are able to bring Tyler off the bench in his 6th man role, that would be idea.

If Miami can hold onto Herro, Jovic and 2FRPs what do you think that package gets you in a secondary trade?

Interestingly the salaries would match perfectly with Myles Turner, TJ McConnell and Pacers have a early 2nd rounder #32.

Personally would prefer we are not paying Tyler 27mil to play 14mins off the bench. That money would be better used to sign guys to fill out our roster.

Have to assume he’d play his 30 mins a night still. Wouldn’t be the best use of 27 mill tho given the rest of the roster.

It's gonna elevate us to the East again for sure but it's gonna hurt when we give up Jokic (kid potential is good). Jimmy is also tight with TJ and I like his playstyle too.

Turner/Yurt/Vet C
Bam/Higsmith/Vet PF
Butler/Martin/Cain
Beal/Cain/2 way player
Vincent/McConnel

Solid squad that can match up now with the Nuggets.

EDIT: Probably will lose Duncan and Strus in the process. So our 3pt shooting off the bench will falter a bit.

It's times like this when you need keep calm and don't panic, I trust Riley.

Suns have ZERO, ZILCH, NO ASSETS TO GIVE UP.

This means, us offering #18 this year > ANYTHING THE SUNS CAN OFFER.

There's no reason to think Beal would block a trade to Miami.
There's no reason to think the Wizards would accept a deal with Suns when they can get a better deal from us. No reason to go into a bidding war against a team that has nothing to offer expet for expirings.

I wouldn't budge. If Beal wants to be here, it should get done by simply giving up Lowry + Duncan/Dipo + #18 this year.

Keep Jovic, I think he's potential is much higher then most think. he can become a big factor for this team as soon as next year.

^^^ Would rather give up Jovic than #18 pick. Not as high on him, especially defensively.

I think we just saw in the finals what kind of impact you can get when you combine size + Shooting + BB IQ.

Jovic is now 6'11, 240, 19 YO, real shooter, and IMO he's a natural baller with his IQ and court vision.

He's the perfect player next to Bam, and in our system, he can become a wining player as soon as this upcoming year.

I wouldn't trade him for #18 this year. There's no one there I like as much. He has special tools.
