JRoy and raf1995 needs to listen to this Unbiased Trailblazers podcast. One of the Portland hosts lives in toronto so he got to see a third to half of all raptor games. They break down the trade rumors and debate about Pascal vs Brown a lot. Good listen from actual unbiased blazers fans unlike JRoy and raf1995.

And yeah, he made all nba 2nd team 3 years ago, but he’s not considered a top 20 player in the nba anymore. You sound like Masai.
2019 RJ Barrett, Duke – New York Knicks
2018 Luka Doncic, Slovenia – Dallas Mavericks
2017 Jayson Tatum, Duke – Boston Celtics
2016 Jaylen Brown, California – Boston Celtics
2015 Jahlil Okafor, Duke – Philadelphia 76ers
2014 Joel Embiid, Kansas – Philadelphia 76ers
2013 Otto Porter, Georgetown – Washington Wizards
2012 Bradley Beal, Florida – Washington Wizards
2011 Enes Kanter, Kentucky – Utah Jazz
2010 Derrick Favors, Georgia Tech – New Jersey Nets

How many of them would you take over Pascal? There's a risk we significantly lose this trade if Scoot doesn't pan out, and that's worth something. Accept it.

Here’s the thing though. It’s not a generic #3 pick. It’s a pick in this draft with this level of talent in the top 3. This years pick is worth more than top 3 picks in other drafts. And yeah, there’s no guarantee. But that’s why it’s high risk high reward. Scoot has the potential to be much more than Siakam ever will be. We have to go all in if we want the reward. If you want to play it safe, keep the core together and add a better bench and coaching staff and see what happens. The choice is ours.
Nah don't give me that bs. I'm 37 and I've been watching the NBA since 2000, intently. People say that garbage every damn year. Can't miss prospect! Nothing is as it seems and this draft is no more special than any other, outside of Wembenyama. The bust potential for Scoot and Miller is as high as any of the busts on that list I posted.

I think he's biased as hell compared to most of us. Don't mean that as an insult but his perception of our player's value is always higher than most here believe.

Just purely curious here, where do you guys value Barnes in relation to Miller & Scoot?

If you could pick 2 out of those 3 given no restriction, which 2 would you ultimately pick to be the duo?

Ok fine, but what are you willing to add to Siakam to get Scoot? Because #3 for Siakam isn’t something Portland would (or should) agree to.
We're not adding anything. If Por wants Siakam they have to add Sharpe + 3

The Raptors are never getting Sharpe plus 3rd overall for Siakam, it just means the Raptors are not trading Siakam and we will be stuck with a top heavy roster that has a treadmill ceiling

Why don't you just say what you think a fair deal for the 3rd pick is if they were to trade w the raptors instead of disagree w everything

He doesn’t want to trade the pick at all. He’d rather let down the best player in their franchise history and use the pick

"POR wouldn’t be a real contender if TOR gave us OG and Siakam for free."

Pure hyperbole, but consider this is the stance. Renders the discussion pointless.

That's embarrassing. Glad to see him accept the fact that Lillard is overrated and isn't a winning player.

Yeah I don't really understand what JRoy is even doing here. Does he want Barnes from us in exchange for Lillard? I assume that is what his intentions are.

It's funny we heard this exact same thing about the 2021 draft, how Cade Cunningham, Jalen Green and Jalen Suggs were future stars and it was one of the most loaded drafts, maybe even up there with 2003 in terms of talent level.

Fast forward to 2023, only two years later and Cade is constantly injured, Detroit undoubtedly regrets passing up a trade OKC offered that would have landed them SGA. Jalen Green scores a lot of points but it's on low efficiency and he plays no defence. Houston is now getting itchy to improve quickly and it's likely they would trade him in order to get a star player that will entice James Harden to sign back with them. Suggs has improved from his horrid rookie season, but he's still a poor offensive player who is mostly staying afloat with his defence. Rumours were floating that Orlando was willing to trade him in a deal for Fred VanVleet at the deadline.

He's here because he's checking the news every minute. He knows a trade is coming and toronto is the most likely trade partner. He's in the denial stage and it's his coping mechanism. Soon he'll be at the acceptance stage.

Masai & Bobby are that one fantasy basketball GM that offer you the worst trade packages over and over trying to fleece you and than you have convos with other Fantasy basketball GMs in your league and find out they are offering everyone the same kind of dumb trades and everyone in the league does not take them seriously anymore...

Sadly i think that has happened to our front office over the last little while....And thats why we only made trades with the Spurs for the last few seasons cause they are the only team willing to trade with us....Lol

To be honest the Spurs definitely fleeced us on the Thad Young trade and the jury is still out on the Poeltl trade, but based on reporting we probably overpaid.

Rather, Masai discounts value of draft picks. Gives too much away in draft capital to acquire players, then asks for too much in return for his own players.
