Yeah looks like Beal forced their hand. Haven't read reports but if that's the case Beal will go down as the biggest piece of **** in washington sports history.

I guess there was never a realistic Miami offer because this is turrible.

I'm not going to bash management unless we get more information. Maybe there just wasn't a deal out there.

I'm assuming we will try and flip Paul for something.

I don't see how this is better than standing pat until the deadline, or even until next year.

The reported Miami deal was way better. It to me looks like Beal forced it and the connection between the agent and the suns CEO is flat out tampering

If we find out that there was truly a Heat offer involving #18, 2028 1st, and filler, and we let Beal strong arm us into this crappy offer, I'm gonna be upset.

It looks like the new management still wants to be perceived as nice guys who work collaboratively with players and agents. Exactly what has that done for us in the past 20 years?

His value must have been in the toilet because none of the rumored offers were any good at all.

I trust that Wagner did what he thought was best.

It's an awful trade, but I'm still happy to have him off the team.

The no trade clause was basically the mail in the coffin. That destroyed what little value Beal had.

Anyway, good riddance to that terrible contract.

Just a reminder that the Wizards received less in return for Bradley Beal than these players:

Rui Hachimura: 3 2nd round picks

Thomas Bryant: 3 2nd round picks

Jae Crowder: 5 2nd round picks

And some of us have been calling this ever since Wall fell in the shower back in '19. Great job Wizards, it's the Webber trade Part II, the wizards managed to turn its three biggest value assets of the last forty years in trades into literally 3 manure sandwiches.

Stupidest, worst franchise in the history of the NBA, they finally lapped the Clippers of the eighties/nineties/aughts. .

Let me add, I do not blame the new GM and Front Office at all, this entire ---- show was the product of two incompetent GM's in EG and Shepard and an absolutely putrid, horse ---- owner in Ted.

I wouldn't even blame Beal.

Anyone with a brain in their skull knew that Beal wanted the bag and he wanted to win, and we could only give 1 of the 2 after Wall went down. That half the fan base on here (and in general), ownership and the F.O. were too epic stupid to realize this and let the '19, '20, '21 and '22 drafts and deadline's go by without taking action is a fireable offense for EVERYONE.

Nobody, and I mean, NOBODY, should attend a single wizards game, nor watch a game for the next 4 years, the length of the dumber than ---- contract they gave Beal last offseason that literally everyone everywhere knew was insane save for the Wizards front office.

---- Ted, ---- Tommy, ---- EG, ---- this worthless franchise that isn't worth your time or a single, thin dime.

Everything Beal is involved with sucks. I will always dislike him. Good riddance and what an awful trade. Should’ve just held him and make him ride the pine. Entitled baby.
