Beal wanted Phoenix. I believe it was that simple.

We had the contracts (Lowry and Dipo) for the Wizards to be off the Beal deal in a year instead of four. Beal wanted Phoenix though.

Sadly Vic has PO and he has to agree to not opt in. But I see that he wants to continue to rehab here and opt-in to his possible last contract.

Wiz might really want a clean slate after all

2. Miami ownership vetod the trade, told them not to put themselves in a situation to pay or be in tax hell in the next couple of years.

2 is not the case, the Heat would not even gotten in discussions if the owner didnt give the Heat the blessings. It appears there was a mix of a game of chicken and possible owners got into a personal trade as well.

It’s not that simple. With only 3.8 away from the super tax Lowry and Dipo was still about 7 million away from Beal contract so yeah the trade checker and some dummy reporters said it was possible but it really wasn’t

Pat Riley strikes out yet again. Now let’s all get our hopes up for Dame while he strikes out one more time. Only got Jimmy because he WANTED Miami. Only got lebron and Bosh because Wade convinced them. In reality, Pat hasn’t done anything of note. The shaq trade is basically all he gets credit for here.

Nah they're entertaining. ICC keep them coming. Next season not for another 4 months, we need stuff to talk about. Just like the 5 reasons guys and Adam Borai, you take these stuff with a grain of salt.

If we didn't even offer #18 = We didn't even want Beal.

Maybe they really think Herro is going to be 90% of what Beal is at half the price.

Or they have another deal planned

Guys, as I’ve stated numerous times the last week…..DAME IS THE MAIN PRIZE!!!

Was I excited at the possibility of adding Dame for literal peanuts? Definitely.

Was I upset we didn’t get him? A little disappointed because dame is uncertain and Beal was there for the taking for literally nothing but mainly got a good chuckle at all the media guys/insiders who were saying it was for sure Miami. Threw some shade at Rat Riley and went about my day because for me Dame had always been option 1.

Now Lillards mouthpiece Chris Haynes has tweeted we’re focused on Dame, the real prize of the offseason. It’s time for Pat to do his thing, if he misses out on Dame after passing up peanuts on the sure thing in Beal it’s time to step down.

Beal is tiers above Herro, dame is tiers above Beal. His skillset just so happens to be the perfect fit we need next to Jimmy and Bam as well as just his overall status as a player and his demeanor/goals.

Get it fuxking done Patrick!!!

I do believe Lillard has been sending Heat signals during these Bradley Beals discussion that is why Chris Haynes kept interjecting in the Heat Beal trade reports and adding Lillard name to it.

I am hopeful to get Dame, But if he says to POR its either BKN or MIA there is no point even trying. Lillard has to say Miami only or we not getting him.

**** his feelings we're disgruntled at him for missing the last two playoffs and being an overpaid chucker who can't play defense.

Heat wanted Lillard with Beal that I am confident about. I do not believe Heat intended to lose Beal but they did. Heat been after Beal for years, working for this day.

The 2nd point would give me major issues. You pay a bunch of dudes twice what theyre worth routinely, then try to stay out of the tax. Self defeating.

Not really. Herro ain't a problematic player. Its not the first season he's been on the trade block. He was in rumors last season and he didn't cause trouble in the locker room. He's been a pro. Heat's frustration with him has been work in the summer and building strength and his offseason distractions. So this isn't something to worry about

Not the beal trade, the Dame trade. He knows his name is in the hat to go to Portland if it happens.

He will have to make a hissy fit, but it looks like we will have to wait til draft day.

He was cleared to play in the finals, spo dressed him and didn't allow him to play. Now he's in rumors to go from Miami, Florida to Portland, Oregon. He walked off the court before the game was over. I'm not saying he isn't professional though. Just human.
