JD likely, and starring, I’d imagine.
Juhann? Anyone know if we’ll see him. I’m a fan.
Would hope to see Madar again too, but JD and Juhann are the ones I can see being in discussion for 15th spot/2way conversations sooner rather than later (I know Begarin just signed somewhere new in Europe).

JD is probably as exciting a late second rounder as you could ever hope for. I don’t know if he pans out but he’s leaps and bounds better than some of the late pick guards Danny was bringing in.
Had a chance to see him a few times in Maine.. he’s exciting. Can handle the PNR pretty well. Funky jumper last year but reasons to be hopeful. Great down hill speed.. and those hops. My god that bounce. Maybe not quite Morant but not worlds off.

JD is the future "real" PG that the C's seek. Compare his age and G-League stats to those of Scoot, who grew up in a coaching family with a professional gym in a major metropolitan area. IMO they are about even with their jumper and JD is a more advanced and gifted distributor. Give him 20 minutes a game next season and suddenly Rob, if he's still here, will have 2 PGs willing and able to feed him.

I have little doubt that Champagnie will be on the team too. Kabengele I'd say is a 50/50 for being on the team. We might just part ways with him and wish him the best of luck, instead of stringing him along if we know he's not gonna make the team next year (and he's too old to be on a 2-way again).
Whoever we pick at 35 will be on the team.
And since there's now THREE 2-ways slots instead of 2, I'm assuming sign 2 (or maybe even 3) UDFA guys. Although this year's crop of UDFA probably won't be as deep as last year, since LOTS of guys withdrew from the draft this year.
Could be a really fun team if we have all these guys there..
-JD
-Begarin
-Yam
-Kabengele
-Champagnie
-Pick 35
-UDFA 1
-UDFA 2

Yup. These are their numbers this past season.
To be fair, JD is a year older than Scoot. But still, JD could end up being *really* good.

I'd like to see Davison move up the PG-chain, onto the Regular Roster. Juhann should at least be a Two-Way.
I mean, we have 3 x Two-Ways slots now. And all 3 should be Vacant?
If Madar doesn't get on now, then doubtful that he every does.

JD also had just one year of college after playing at this seriously disadvantaged high school of 350 students: https://www.usnews.com/education/best-high-schools/alabama/districts/lowndes-county/calhoun-high-school-236
Compare that with Scoot, who's been training with Steph's trainers, whose parents have had a professional gym the last 5 years, etc.
You're right, Scoot will be 20 on Feb 3 and JD will be 21 on Oct 3, but given how JD is relatively playing catch-up and has the speed, vision, feel and passing for the game already, I'm just as happy with him as with Scoot, who will probably go #2 or #3 this week.

Fast pgs seem to fair well in the G league where the level of defense is well below, the real question is how well his outside shot developes and how he sees the court. Higher on JB with his potential to play multiple positions. I think they bring in a few undrafted though as they seemed to have worked out a ton of guys not highly ranked and theyll have plenty of roster spots open.
