KD is not fetching you a whole lot at age 36, sorry. There's also the issue of having to match his 50mil salary. If it doesn't work then it's Booker that they are going to have to jettison.

I wonder how the contracts align. They could have 50 mil coming off the books just in time for other star players. Players like Booker, which is painful knowing we could have drafted him but we took Winslow instead.

We should of traded him to Boston for the 4 picks but that funny part is I think Winslow would of ended up a way better player in Boston then he did with us. Just a better fit they would of slotted him in right away and he would of learned from smart . We eased him in very slowly as we usually do with our young guys but I think Boston would of given him ultra confidence from the get go.

They misquoted Ira. He said they want to “stink bigger,” not “think bigger.”

Brook Lopez would be sick but don’t know how we’d be able to swing that one.

Pray someone takes Duncan and Oladipo off our hands. 28 freaking million between those 2 hogging up the cap is just absurd.

Nah Winslow just sucked and had many holes in his game but the Duke run that year clouded judgements hard.

All that “recruiting” they forgot the most important piece is he had to demand Miami in order to facilitate the trade. He didnt, so he can enjoy cleveland

That was Barry being SUPER irresponsible. I can't blame casual fans for eating that up because they don't give a crap about understanding cap implications. Barry on the other hand was just blasting tweets about absolute pipe dreams and he should know better but I guess maybe it got him more clicks on his Herald articles, idk.

I expect that from 5 reasons not Barry. Disappointed he stooped to that level

Agreed. Can’t imagine the Heat FO were pleased with Barry stoking the fire of expectations.

For the record Herro and his 27 mil is no problem whatsoever and fine with him as our starting two but when you got Duncan and Oladipo who won’t even play making 28 million like holy cow we are phucked right now. Put 18 in play to clean up that chit for a brighter tomorrow

Kd, Beal and Booker all expire in different years so that doesn't work.

We still had Point Winnie, MWP. Hell of a run that was.

Shame his body broke and then his confidence. He was shining for that 2 month period.

Only time Winnie had me was on draft day. I got suckered too. I had wanted Booker slam dunk until Winnie fell

Pat : "Joe. I can't remember the last time you invited me for a cup of coffee. But I need Lillard. He says he wants to come here. We have all the leverage. We offer Duncan Robinson, Kyle Lowry, and a future 2nd round pick. Let's get it done before 4'o clock, I have dinner"

POR GM Cronin : "I'm open to sending him your way, Pat. But we're going to need the #18 pick and we want Tyler Herro instead of Duncan Robinson."

Pat : "Herro? What? Do you know he's from Kentucky? I played there you know. He's going to be an all time great. He's off the table."

POR GM Cronin : "Add Herro instead of Robinson, and the #18, and we have a deal."

Pat: "Do you know who I am? You don't buy me out, I buy you out! Call me back when you change your mind."

*Pat hangs up and looks at a very worried Spoelstra*

Pat : "I made him an offer he can't refuse. Don't worry, we'll sweat him out and he'll have no choice. Get the team public relations to start printing a Lillard jersey."

*BREAKING NEWS --- Portland has agreed to send Damian Lillard to the New York Knicks*

Don’t even know what we’d have to give up for Dame. I just know it will be a lot. And while I know he’s a first option on offense, the frontcourt issues and size remain.

Can already picture Dame boxing out 5’s and us getting ripped a new one while he launches 30 footers.

I wouldn't count on Dame either. Fast forward two seasons when Bam gets supermaxed and 3 of our players would be at $180m+

gom, I don't see his posts, where is he posting?

He posted LILLARD a few pages back. Gom quoted his failed Lowry rumor from the trade deadline.
