The Suns are essentially screwed if they don't win with this core (which I don't think they will). They are headed towards the 2nd apron and at that point it literally does not matter how much money their owner is cool with spending.

They can try it out this year and if it doesn't work.. GET A TON FROM A KD TRADE! They're in a great situation. KD still has 3 years left on his contract, he's always wanted by teams.

KD is not fetching you a whole lot at age 36, sorry. There's also the issue of having to match his 50mil salary. If it doesn't work then it's Booker that they are going to have to jettison.

They got a haul for him this season, a year down the road I'm guessing a 7 foot skilled player with 2 more years on his contract will still bring back a haul.

To be fair our star players dont care about the regular season. Jimmy take half the season off and only starts putting effort after the Allstar break, maybe we as fans should take that same approach?

I’m really only excited for bam and herro possibly taking another step, seeing Jovic improving & in summer league and the #18 pick and see how that pans out. I am not excited about this teams overall direction and we won’t win a championship without an elite scorer.
