Where are you getting that from?

5 reasons... although they said they didn't hear the final offer.

Also, if they needed expirings they could have brought in a 3rd team to make that happen.

Barry stated that the agreement was the agreement was Lowry and Robinson, there was something else that the Wiz wanted and Heat said no, that was the sticking point. You are searching to hard to make Duncan the fall guy. Now everyone speculating for conversation purpose. Everyone that knew the offers that the trade was Lowry and either Oladipo or Duncan was agreed on, but the negoation was about picks.

In fact the whole year the heat have be stern about not trading picks. And even Barry said, the draft picks was important because they want to use them for Lillard.

We're not even in a sweepstakes yet because Dame hasn't even declared if wants to be traded yet lol.

Dame mentioned being interested in Brooklyn while talking about who he'd go to. While he said Bridges, just a year and half ago he was wanting Simmons in a trade from Philly in a story from Shams on The Athletic. Did notice that 5 reasons didn't bring up this part.

Lillard intends to give the Trail Blazers organization time to find its next leader of basketball operations. But beyond the front office component, the face of the franchise still wants significant changes to the roster. Multiple sources have told The Athletic that Lillard would like to play with Philadelphia 76ers three-time All-Star Ben Simmons. The Trail Blazers’ league-worst defense would instantly improve, and sharing a backcourt with a non-shooter could work given Lillard’s high-volume usage.

Who knows, maybe they could trade the 3rd pick and some players to get Bridges and take on Simmon's contract.

In all honesty, I am more interested in this draft. I know I may be delusional to think the Heat are also interested in this draft. But I think there are some real big time players mixed up in this draft.

Let play devils advocate here. Say the deal was Lowry + Robison ( I dont believe it but sure I'll bite), the subsequent move would be Dame for Herro + Oladipo + every pick right? While amazing in talent, that team is basically over the second apron of the tax. Whether we traded Duncan to the wiz or to the blazers is immaterial in the big picture. Dame would only leave for a contender not a lateral move. By having one fish in our hands, we can make a more compelling argument for why Dame should come here, why we are a contender. The whole thing makes no sense unless we are in penny pinching mode and will do everything to get out of the tax, talent be dammed. Very disconcerting but in line with all of our moves.

So we’re actively recruiting Dame. Bam is his boy and the organization is selling him on Jimmy as well.

The literal perfect fit next to Jimmy and Bam on the heat from a basketball, timeline, contract, asset standpoint

Maybe Bam, but the organization can’t come within a mile of Dame for now. They must have some real insider info in Dame’s thought process and desires, because this is nuts.

Watch this interview. Especially starting at 2:45. If we keep our pick he’s the one player we never needed to work out.

This message that the Beal did not want to go to the Heat is what really makes no sense. The Heat do not opperate like that. They will speak with the player before deciding to negotiate a trade, its been reported that the Heat talked to Beal.

However if that is the messaging Beal wants to be put out, then f him.

Idk who to believe. Barry is saying Heat + Beal's associates said that the Wizards liked the Suns offer better and Beal would've welcomed a Heat trade. But the DC reporters are saying the Wizards liked the Heat's picks better, but Beal chose Suns only

Lol Beal walks to Phoenix now Miami were prioritising Dame all a long. Some of these reports are pure guesses.

At the end of the day these players genuinely have to want to be in Miami to want to help this team win a championship. Not have several teams they want to choose frm who their team will pick in the end cos they have the better assets. This is why i nvr entertained Beal. He nvr truly wanted to be here in spite of the many pitches we’ve had w/ him. I’m sure if Beal pushed his way here we wld’ve found a middle point w/ negotiations & Woj wld’ve reported Beal to Miami. So who gives a flying f*ck about Beal.

Miami are operating in a way that’s also beneficial to our future, unlike a lot of these organisations who continue to make horrible decisions & nvr have a hope. Phoenix will soon find out the mistake they made. There’s still a lot of future in this current team regardless of Butlers window.

I wanna see how this offseason pans out but im not clamouring for whales or star players that genuinely do not want to be here. I want an Olidipo/Love type that wants to be a part of this organization.
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

Beal is saying that so he won't come out as a softie but it's all BS and we were just used as leverage.

He wants to be a Phoenix Sun from the start.

Miami didn’t offer multiple 1sts, they wanted to save all assets for Dame. The true prize of the summer. You threw your Hail Mary Pat, now get it done or get tf out. Goodnight!

Someone better be talking to the Blazers and not Dame, or he's going to end up elsewhere. Beal had leverage due to his no trade clause (what moron thought that was a good idea?), Lillard has no such clause to leverage.
