I'm pretty damn okay with drafting Amen at #4 if Houston wants to get in on the mix for Siakam in order to lure in Harden as well.

Doubtful, though, that Green+#4 is a realistic trade scenario. That's likely overpaying for Siakam.

The odds the Wiz get #3 for Porzingis are about the same as the odds were of them getting #3 for Beal.

#8 would be part of it,
basic core of trade 3 + nurkic for porz + 8

Just. Make. It. Happen!

I'm cool with Simons, #3, #23 for Siakam and #13.

Pivot to Zion if #3 is unattainable.

You hope that a guy like Masai can talk some sense into Zion and that the silver fox can work some load managing magic on the guy's body but I'm not sold on Zion...

I don't get the supposed hurry to trade Zion. The guy made strides to lose weight last year and showed how valuable he was on the court by making the Pelicans look like a contender while he was healthy and a lottery team when he wasn't. That's insane, and not something you walk away from after one year.

Ideally we get a top 4 pick with Pascal, but if not possible I would take a chance on Zion. Big risk mainly on his health, and some off court issues but he's turning 23 and looked dominant when he is playing.

His extension has him getting 25% of the cap which will likely be less than Pascal's next contract.

I don't know about adding a non-shooting Zion to a non-shooting Scottie. I can't see that as a recipe for success.

I usually fully avoiding non-shooters. However, when. The talent level is a potential superstar, I think you still do it.

Blazers apparently favor Zion over Ingram for the #3 pick.

Looking more and more likely that Raptors won't be able to trade into the top of the draft and will run it back next season with the same squad.

Zion is quickly turning into this year's Ben Simmons.

So much smoke

There is only one team I can see being desperate (stupid?) enough to chase Zion and that is the forever superstar hungry NY Knicks.

I would be SHOCKED...SHOCKED.... if Portland traded for Zion given that franchise's history with injured stars and high lottery picks.

Listening to today's Lowe Post with Bobby Marks as a guest and they're both pretty approving of the idea of a #3 for Siakam trade.

Nothing is as it seems and this draft is no more special than any other, outside of Wembenyama. The bust potential for Scoot and Miller is as high as any of the busts on that list I posted.

Just admit you don’t know much about the draft and prospect evaluations. Saying the bust potential for Scoot is as high as any of the most famous busts of the last 10 years shows your ignorance.

See?

Not the same guy.

So you don't value Siakam or OG very highly, which is fine. What do you value Dame at? We just saw Beal get traded for peanuts, Lillard is a better player but on a slightly worse contract. 2 first round picks and whatever expiring contracts to match salaries?

Toronto doesn’t have a good history of helping guys lose weight (looking at Oliver Miller, Jared Sullinger, and even Lowry- though Lowry fluctuated if I remember correctly).
