He’ll be in Portland or Miami to start next season, we’ll know on Thursday

We better hope Portland screws the pooch and whiffs on a trade on draft day, or were left holding our Dck's in hand again.

Time for a “mutual” parting and retirement between Rat Riley and the Heat if we run it back

I don't think were running it completely back per say, I think we do have some middle of the line moves we can make to help bolster the team, and help Jimmy and Bam in either size, defense, or three point shooting.

Was just at the gym and talked to Randy Embrys son. Said it should be a fun offseason. We shall see

Heat recently worked out Jaime Vasquez Jr who’s now projected to go 33rd on tankathon to the Spurs. Follow the tea leaves for the salary dump

I gotta say, it feels pretty good being a Blazers fan. We already have Dame on the roster. No need to stress.

If I’m Portland I would go out and get zion with the #3 pick and get OG with picks and Anferknee Simons.

Dame
Sharpe
OG
Zion
Nurk

That’ll be a top 4 seed with zion actually healthy which is a big question

Again, what the hell does this mean? Portland has made him stupid rich while Dame has gotten his numbers and not much else. The franchise has been loyal to him, not the other way around. Showing up for work and cashing your max checks is the absolute basic minimum that is expected from any player ... not some heroic act.

I'll take this moment to mention the unmentionable ... we ran our GOAT out of town to avoid giving him a multi-year deal at decent money. Not max money, just decent money. Whiteside money. And our GOAT was actually somebody in the NBA and had actually accomplished things for this organization. Dame Lillard hasn't done a god damn thing for anybody but Dame Lillard. He is just a better behaved Kyrie Irving.

I don't think anybody will argue with you that there isn't a better fit that Damian Lillard in Miami vs any other team in the league where people will argue with you is how it can happen, and the chance of it happening. We have seen this story too many times to keep falling for the peddling story of pay a pennie to cross the bridge we keep being sold and its an open trench we fall into time and time again.

I'm not sure Portland has the guts to move that #3 pick.

Doesn't matter.

Other teams will join the bidding war for Dame. Maybe even the Suns again, finding assets to outbid us for a 3rd time in a row.

As Pat sits back and refuses to overpay even a little to get something done.

Remember Riles of 2004? He traded damn near our entire starting lineup to get the whale. PLUS our 1st round pick.

Riles of 2020s.... "#18 pick to secure an all-star? No deal."

Look I love Tyler, thinks he's good. But some of you are over hyping him. To ask if Dame is an improvement over Tyler is wild.

Buddy, I don’t know who you are or what’s your deal, but Dame has given us many priceless memories that will live with us forever. They’re worth more than any store-bought Heat championship.

Doesn’t work out that way when your pressing the 2nd apron by only 3.8. Signing the 18th pick alone gets us over that threshold lol Every single player we sign after gets taxed out the gourd if we are over. All to keep Duncan

I can see Portland trading pick #23 for some role player, keeping pick #3 and drafting with it. And then turning to Dame and telling him they did what they can to improve the roster and plan to re-sign Grant.

You might be right, I’m curious to see if they’re more likely to move it if Scoot is available or Miller. Scoot is more promising for their future but he’s also the better trade asset where as if Miller is there the trade offers will be pretty weak I’d say

Hell if I’m the hornets I’d draft scoot at 2 and then offer Ball for the 3rd pick and Simons to Portland so they can have their PG to replace Dame when he leaves this summer. Turn and move some Dame assets for OG and keep grant who wants a larger role in the offense anyways.

Scoot
Simons
Miller
PJW
M. Williams

Ball
Sharpe
OG
Grant
Nurkic
