While he's the exception and not the rule, there are things to like about Coulibaly, even if he ends up as.. Batum? Or something along those lines? You'd take that outcome in late lottery.
But there's also a lot of other guys who may hit with higher probability - still, identifying them isn't clear cut.
Few things happend for Giannis that didn't happen for anybody else, including his brother.
He was 6th months younger than Bilal is. But i don't think that's all that important.
What happend to Giannis is fact that he grew up from some 6'8- 215 to 6'11 /220 in matter of a year.
Yes, 19 years old can grow. For 99,999% of population that growth is going from some random 179 cm to 180 , 181 at most.
And even if you track down Giannis brothers,
nobody experienced such things.
Thanasis is 6'7.
Kostas is tall but his combine measurments weren't anything special ( nor his basketball talent is)
Alex is 6'7 ( age 21).
Francis is 6'5 ( not even playing basketball)
so even in his family, nobody else grew that tall, nor had that crazy burst but Giannis, maybe aside of Kostas (6'10), but his agility and mobility are nowhere near Giannis.
One thing about Bilal that strikes me when i watch him, to me he looks like very mediocre athlete. Latheral speed, agility, acceleration, deceleration, vertical... nothing really looks anything special. French league is very athletic, he looks to be average athlete. Maybe he just has no strenght due age , but nothing to me pops out.
