Same player except one is young, cheap, better shooter and has tons more potential

But honestly id only go this route if hes there at 11 (or we trade up from 11) since i want Ausar at 3 or trade up for scoot, anything else at 6 would be disappointing to me

“Same player except one is young, cheap, better shooter and has tons more potential” you’re talking about a HOFer and an all time great glue guy with an elite mentality.. you’re setting yourself up for epic disappointment come draft time

But to OP: no, too old and will cost way too much. And I don’t think he would be interested in coming here anyways

Hes also a guy who basically out of the league and on his way to play in china before kerr found a very specific role for him

Draymond isnt dramond on 31 of the other teams in the league and i think anyone who signs him and expects him to be some championship level player for them is going to be very disappointed

You missed the part where he became the leader and decade long-starter on a team that went to 6 finals

Look at past drafts - you’re way more likely to draft Bamba at 6 than a better Draymond Green. Pump the breaks

Tone-setting players are massively important in sport and are generally undervalued.

The interesting thing about Orlando is that the tone is already one of hardworking, ambitious, hungry players who want to win. Not that it couldnt be improved a lot by one of the league's real keystone players, but for me the kind of leadership thats needed is more the on-court play direction piece.

In terms of why Orlando is already pretty down the road on team ethic is surely due to recruiting those kind of players, but also maybe the influence of Gary Harris. Malone singled out Gary and a couple ofnhis former teammates as setting the culture in Denver that allowed them become the team they are now. Thought that was interesting - he's probably had a similar effect in Orl.

Draymond just declined his 27.5M player option at the Bay. While being a starter. Will he come to Otown getting 25M around and become a bench player

I just do not see it. If Draymond is signed by Orlando, he is a starter from day 1

I think he'd fill the Isaac role and make him expendable. Instead of playing him 5 minutes per half like Isaac, play him closer to 15.

I don't see Draymond coming here, but if GSW is planning to pony up to keep him, then we might be able to acquire Jordan Poole for cheap, since the Warriors will need to clear salary.

Not for that much money. I think he'd bring a big of tenacity and fire to our locker room, so I'd be ok if he played for us even though I dislike him. I think he provides something this team has missed for a while.

Not sure how much he'll actually get in FA or if he feels Golden State's time is over and it's time to go ring chasing. If he's not getting big offers I could see him easily winding up in L.A.
