LOL at top ten lists without Cousy, the guy who invented the position and led the league in assists eight years in a row while winning rings and an MVP.
Big O was far more accomplished than the likes of Isaiah, and Walt Frazier is miles better than Lillard and Westbrook.
I'll overlook West since he was more of a swing guard.

1. Magic
2. Steph (really more of a swing guard)
3. Cousy
4. Oscar
5. Stockton

2. Steph Curry
3. Oscar Robertson
4. Bob Cousy
5. Jerry West
6. John Stockton
7. Steve Nash
8. Walt Frazier
9. Chris Paul (a statistical comparison would move him up... but meh... I like those other guys better)
10. Isiah Thomas (stats be damned... dammit)

I'm going to go about this somewhat differently than others.

PGs who arguably changed the game

Bob Cousy
Oscar Robertson
Magic Johnson
Steve Nash
Stephen Curry

PGs who were arguably the best player on multiple championship teams (some guys have far stronger cases than others)

Bob Cousy
Walt Frazier
Jo Jo White
Dennis Johnson
Magic Johnson
Isiah Thomas
Tony Parker
Stephen Curry

PGs who were arguably the best player on a championship team not mentioned in the above category

Oscar Robertson
Gus Williams
Chauncey Billups

Jerry West

PGs who were MVPs

Bob Cousy
Oscar Robertson
Magic Johnson
Allen Iverson
Steve Nash
Derrick Rose
Stephen Curry
Russell Westbrook

James Harden

PGs who were a perennial fixture on contenders

Sidney Moncrief
Kevin Johnson
John Stockton
Gary Payton
Jason Kidd
Steve Nash
Chris Paul

James Harden

I was thinking more in terms of best not greatest. By that I mean who is the most talented and if they all were in their primes with lets say a 90 day boot camp with the best modern trainers in the world (Drew Hanlen, Tim Grover etc.) To help them catch up on modern day rules and advantages then who would be the best. This is probably not what the question asked for but I enjoy doing it this way to try and determine who are truly the most talented players of all time regardless of era.

If we are talking about accomplishments within their own era then I don't disagree with you though.

Apparently I forgot Jason Kidd when I made that list and also I'd say Damian Lillard has passed him since the time I initially made it. So #14's probably a more accurate placement for Lowry. Can't say he's really done anything to pass KJ in his post-prime seasons.

Come on man, Lowry isn't a top 14 all-time NBA point guard.

He's 15th all-time among point guards in WS despite being an all-time little things guy who's probably underrated by the box score as much as almost anyone in NBA history. 26 year RAPM would rank him 6th among all PGs since 1997.
